Loved this surprise novella that TIJAN dropped!
Thank you for giving us more Fallen Crest and Crew!!

I loved Samantha’s POV - how she is adjusting to becoming a new mom while still caring for her friends, family and running career.
Brens POV was amazing also- she is so observant and still the anchor to her Crew.

Every single character was true to themselves while also adjusting to change and showing their growth.

Friendship, laughter, fights, drama and more in one of my favorite worlds.

It is Quintessential TIJAN.

Several breadcrumbs and can’t wait for Always Crew and Nates book.

It’s good to see the gang again. I adore seeing Sam and Mason with their daughter. Hopefully, we’ll get to see Logan and Taylor with kids someday.

It was great having a reunion of the fallen crest gang. I felt like a lot of cans of worms were opened without any closure/. No epilogue so does that mean there will be more in the future?

A must read for all fans of Fallen Crest and the Crew series! This short novel is a nice reminder of these amazing series and all the amazing people from so many books. You will meet all characters from both series in this short story.
This novel is short but funny and entertaining.
Like a short trip into the past, but maybe also in the future?
I enjoyed it and now I want to read the series again 🤗
I would really love to read a sequel to Fallen Crest.

Disclaimer: This crossover novella is a part of the Fallen Crest and Crew world. It is a part of a series and should not be read as a standalone.

This short novella is 18 chapters (116 pages) and doable to read in 1-2 sittings. It focuses on the Fallen Crest (Heather, Channing, Taylor, Logan, Matteo, Nate, Mason, & Sam) and Crew (Bren, Cross, Zellman, & Jordan) groups coming together to go on a camping trip. It's mainly told from Samantha's POV but others are included such as Bren and Mason.

Overall~

There was funny moments like the leapfrogging & Sam talking aloud drunk and then of course some good fighting drama. All these moments were quite enjoyable. I also loved Samantha’s POV on how she is adjusting to becoming a new mom while concurrently caring for her friends, family, and running career. We had a glimpse of her on motherhood in Heather's book but it was great to see it from her POV instead of a telling to Heather. Bren's POV is something that I do have a harder time finding a connection with as she has always been a more prickly character; yet, she is still the glue that keeps her Crew together and I find that interesting. Lastly, there is some foreshadowing for Always Crew and Nate stories, which I am excited for Nate's story!

I adore Tijan. They have a true talent with words. Every single book I've picked up by them I've enjoyed.

although it's not updated on goodreads, I have read the others in this series, and thoroughly enjoyed them. Fallen Crest Campout is a novella that features not only the fallen crest crew but also a crossover from the "Crew" series as well. You do need to read the other books to understand this one to be fair.

I loved getting this extra peek in their lives, and the crossover was an added bonus for sure!

Definitely check it out.

3.5 Stars. This was a quick, fun foray back into the Fallen Crest universe. There was still some immature drama, but for the most part it was a more grown up look at the Kades and I liked that. There was also the inclusion of characters from the Crew series, which spun off from Fallen Crest, and even though I haven't read those yet, I didn't feel too lost on the new characters. If you're a fan of Fallen Crest, you should definitely check this one out.

Original review: A Novel Glimpse

I will never get tired of revisiting the FCH or Crew series. Combining them into one novella was GENIUS of Tijan. I love how interconnected these two worlds are, and this novella really played that up. I loved that I got to see those old characters and relationships I adored, while also seeing some newer developing storylines. I hope Tijan continues to grace us with FCH and Crew books and novellas because I will never not want them.

I'm always greedy for some stories on my favorite fallen crest characters and then to mix members of the crew in there what more could you ask for.

After finishing Crew Princess I quickly one-clicked this novella, I needed more Bren and her crew. It worked out perfect with the timeline, so I was happy to get a glimpse of what it looked liked to have Heather and Sam, Mason and Channing, and all the other fan favorites come together for a camping trip that takes place after Bren graduates.

There were so many little gems that Tijan gave us in this novella and then she hits us with the surprise that Nate will be getting his own book...I am here for it. I have a strange feeling we are going to get a better perspective of who Zeke is in Nate's book. CAN'T WAIT!

Ugh, I truly do love anything this woman writes. I usually devour it like I haven't ate in years.

It was nice to see all the OG's together living the adult life. Mason and Logan are still my original book boyfriends!
