If you're a fan of the Stark series you know all about Nikki's BFF Jamie and Damien's friend and chief of security Ryan. They had a few little novellas of their own and we've seen them in almost all other books and novellas.
This time we have longer novella. Julie started this as a free chapter thingy in her newsletter. People loved it and so she added a lot to it and turned it into a real story.
And it's a great story!
We get an amazingly suspensy and dangerous and heartbreaking prologue!
And then we're in London ... where Ryan has been working for a few weeks now. And since Jamie missed him too much - she decided to surprise him...
Ryan loved that - but he's also a bit distracted at the moment. He received some very mysterious texts and doesn't really know what to make of them ...
We only know that it has to do with his past - and the prologue.
But can that really be? Is somebody playing a sick game with poor Ryan?
WHAT IS HAPPENING?!
We'll definitely find out.
And we will also definitely witness some very sexy moments in the meantime! LOL!

I've been wanting more Jamie ever since I developed a girl-crush on her early on. She's Nikki's bestie and it's cute how she calls her James. She's fierce and funny and fabulous and the perfect match for Ryan.
How dare he go to work in London and leave her alone with her imagination, right? Normally, Jamie is full of confidence, especially about her relationship with her soulmate. But...after Ryan told her that someone from his past showed up in London...he's not been the same. She can't put her finger on it, but something is different and her insecurities rise to the surface. There's only one way for her to find out if he won't tell her himself. Yup, London here she comes, brace yourself!
If you are a fan of the author and this series, you KNOW what to expect when Jamie is anywhere near Ryan. Their connection takes over and it's not PG-rated, lucky me. Yeah, I have no shame I'm a virtual voyeur and I claim it. I'm also an armchair detective and can't get enough trying to figure out whodunit.
It was so good I thought I might need my own safeword to pause the action when I had to take a potty break. I didn't want to miss anything when I had to step away from my Kindle. I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars that's how good it was.
I have not read 4 crossing my fingers that I won't feel lost. I did not feel lost so know you can read it as a standalone.
This book begins within the first page the story being formed. I love this series the men always protect their women to no end.The prologue was heartbreaking and intense. We meet Ryan with Felicia unfortunately their relationship had to come to an end as quickly as it started.
Years later Ryan is married with Jamie but she has a feeling something is up. Boy was she right something was up. I just kept saying to myself OMG Felicia. It's crazy and so good the turn this story took. I do wish we knew more about Felicia for Ryan's sake.
This book is full of twists and turns. You never really know who is the bad guy. My anxiety has been thru the roof reading this and I can't stop reading this is so good.
I loved how Ryan accepted Gaby as a family member. The poor lady lost her family but now she is making a new one. Please please say the next book is about her and Baxter. I need to know more about him and everyone else. I'm addicted to this series and the characters.

Tease Me by J. Kenner is book 5 in the Stark International Trilogy. This continues the story of Jamie Archer and Ryan Hunter who had their story in the First book "Tame Me". In this book we catch up with them but also they have another story line where Ryan who is the Chief of Start Security is on a project in London that will take him away for a while. But to add to the distance, Ryan ends up meeting Felicia Randall again...someone from his dark past that he feels he failed. But if he goes forward to help with this new encounter it could bring danger but it also could test his connection with Jamie. This is a favorite author that I try to read as often as I can. In addition, this is a great series that I have jumped into and really enjoying.

Tease Me is the fifth book in the Stark International series by J. Kenner. It's not a full-length novel and it was a serial on Kenner's newsletter, so some readers might find this novella familiar.
You know (or you don't) I am a big fan of Jamie and Ryan and I always want new material on them, so this novella couldn't have been more welcome. The problem is that I wasn't very satisfied with it because I felt like it was a story that while kept us up to date with them, it didn't offer anything new to their story. I guess is like the Damien/Nikki stories that are short, sometimes sweet, sometimes not and glimpses into their lives.
The suspense in the story was the best part of it. Ryan should have told Jamie what was going on as soon as he could because it created friction between them when it wasn't needed. Lack of communication is one of my least favorite plots. That and having a woman from Ryan's past also pop up. Felicia put some strain into Jamie and Ryan's relationship and they didn't need it. I got the feeling that these two still have things to work out.
In the end, I did not enjoy the book as much as I wanted and it's a shame since I wanted something on Jamie and Ryan for so long. Maybe we will get novella's for the rest of couples and I wouldn't be opposed to it.

J. Kenner knows how to write a prologue - one that sheds light on Ryan Hunter’s past, bringing into focus just what he might be up against when someone from said past finds a way into his present, reminding him of things that went wrong, of a life he couldn’t save. But while it’s clear that Ryan is struggling with his demons, what’s not quite transparent is the why and how of what happened so long ago merging with the here and now. And in true Kenner fashion, the unraveling of those answers, not only create more questions, but also force characters to realize that things were not and are not what they seem, which makes it a tenuous time for all involved.
Jamie has always been this bright light in Nikki’s life, so the fact that she, too, found the guy for her - someone who loves her unconditionally and gives her everything she wants and more - is all she’s ever wanted,
but Jamie’s lost a bit of her shine with Ryan being out of the country for an extended period of time as well as the changes she’s noticed in his demeanor as he struggles with who he was and who he is,
There’s quite the tangled web of lies, false truths, and deception, which creates a dangerous and suspense-filled story line - one that takes a significant amount of twists and turns as the reality of the situation is slowly exposed. But while that means that Ryan and Jamie have to endure a litany of difficulties, I never once questioned Ryan’s loyalty to his wife or his need for her, which I greatly appreciated because, in some ways, these two have seemed untouchable in that respect, so even if they were tested with this precarious but intriguing situation, I knew they would fight through it and come out just as strong as they were when Ryan left for London.
Jamie and Ryan’s connection is palpable and when their feelings and the intensity of their emotions come into play as well as Jamie’s insecurities, there’s no telling what will happen, especially when Ryan’s past becomes his present and he has to combat his conflicted feelings about the one person he couldn’t save with the one person he would truly die for and more.
I never want to leave J. Kenner’s Stark World; it’s one of my absolute favorites and hopefully the author has no plans of stopping stories set here for an indefinite timeframe.

Having read numerous books by J Kenner, I jumped at the chance to read and review Tease Me about Stark Security Chief Ryan Hunter and his wife Jamie Archer who is an entertainment reporter. As I have come to expect from Ms. Kenner the writing was strong and the story she wove, drew me in and kept me riveted from the first to the last chapter.
The love and trust they share is strong but it can and does get put to the test. What happens when your past suddenly collides with your present? That is the position that Ryan finds himself in when a woman from his past, Felicia Randal suddenly reappears, begging for his help. He knows that there will be danger to those around him but feels that he has no choice by to help Felicia.
There was plenty of steam, suspense, humour, drama and intrigue throughout this story as the love and trust that Ryan and Jamie share is pushed to the limits. Will the trust, love and bond that they have between them be strong enough to endure or will circumstances tear them apart?

J. Kenner has done it again. Another wonderful tale filled with her characters that the reader cannot get enough of. Jamie decides to surprise Ryan in London while he is away on business, but before it is all said and done it is Jamie and secrets from Ryan's past that become the biggest surprises. But nothing from J. Kenner comes without loads of hot and steamy time between the sheets and while they are at it, up against the walls, over couches etc. Jamie and Ryan are nothing if they are not together and once again J. Kenner does not disappoint!!

I am thoroughly impressed. And satisfied with this Hitchcock-style suspense romance.
Marriage between Ryan and Jamie was never boring, but this is a rollercoaster of secrets, dangers, and espionage. Set against the backdrop of London and the shadow of Middle East political upheaval, the story takes off on a shocking scene filled with raw emotions and lethal action.
From there, the married couple faces personal uncertainties about trust and intimacy that lead to burning-hot bedtimes and keen conversations. Only to mingle their romantic epiphany with a bomb from the past that threatens their bond along with their lives.
It's intense. It's tension drenched in adrenaline and love put to the test and a puzzling mystery that appears to be one thing and then another and pulls the reader into a pit of convoluted, exciting clues. I was totally engrossed in the plot, not knowing who was the culprit, but smiling and yeahing over every new detail.
The final chapters rush through molten heat and incredible tension. I loved how the connections were made to unknot the evil plan, the vivid survival escape, and the role of characters from other novels in this author’s universe. Very impressive.

Tease Me by J. Kenner is everything I expect from a Stark International novel. Deliciously sexy, sinful and wickedly passionate. An edge of danger and thrill. One hundred percent satisfying romance goodness!

What I love most about any J. Kenner story is the scorching hot chemistry. The dirty, filthy, seductive, kinky and sultry moments are so well written. They don't feel simple sex scenes. As you’re all aware I’m a Stark fan through and through and whenever a book is written in this world, I’m chomping at the bit to get my hands on it. What I loved so much about this novella that focuses on Ryan and Jamie, who we’ve met and seen in several Stark books, is that this story started as an “extra” in Ms. Kenner’s newsletter. But she listened to us fans and expanded it and made it a full-on novella… YAY!!
The Prologue of this book is heart wrenching and sets up the story perfectly. We move several years ahead after the Prologue and Ryan is in London and Jamie is back in the states but she’s ready to surprise him because she can’t stand being away from him any longer. Little does she when she gets there that it’s not going to be the reunion she was hoping for.
A woman from Ryan’s past has come back and needs his help and he can’t not help her because of their past. But will Jamie understand this connection to another woman?
This book moves at a quick pace bringing us to the action pretty quickly. There’s some big secrets and suspense that you can literally cut a knife through the tension it’s so thick. But Ryan is the right man for the job and when it involves Jamie the tension practically quadruples!!
I loved how this story flowed, giving us a full blown novel in a novella. It’s filled with anticipation, passion, mystery and intrigue. Hearts and relationships will be questioned at different points but rest assured, Ryan and Jamie remain forever strong. This book is a perfect addition to this series and the Stark world!!

Attise moi est le 3ème tome d'une saga ( Le monde de Stark) sur Jamie et Ryan dans le cadre de la saga Stark International mais ce tome peut être lu de manière totalement indépendante. Je n'avais pas lu les précédents tomes et le prologue pose les bases de l'intrigue donc je n'ai eu aucun souci de compréhension. J Kenner nous propose ici un romantic suspense tout en sensualité où les héros vont devoir se faire confiance pour aller de l'avant.
j'ai passé un bon moment de lecture en compagnie de deux personnages qui se battront pour leur conviction et qui sauront se renouveler en tant que couple. Le train train quotidien n'a pas lieu d'être et la sensualité saura être renouvelée sans cesse. Une intrigue qui saura allier amour , séduction, résolution des soucis du passé et enquête

Exciting from start to finish~
The dynamics in play with Jamie and Ryan are temping enough that I could focus on just that YET, the story that plays out is will have you on your toes the entire time.
A plane ride, a seduction plan and then life is turned upside down for Jamie and Ryan and the fun just keeps coming. Where does J. Kenner come up with some of the hottest stories around?
I guess it really doesn't matter as long as she keeps doing it. And YES, she just has that magic writing pen that keeps putting out books that enthrall you.
I could not put this book down without fighting with myself that maybe I could skip work and the bath for the night.
In other words....it was outstanding!

Jamie and Ryan deliver super sexy fun. Jamie is missing her husband while he is in London and feels a distance from Ryan when he mentions someone from his past appearing. Well, Jamie can’t let that go so she embarks on a sexy adventure to seduce her husband. As these two explore their amazing chemistry, a friend from Jamie’s past resurfaces, Gabby. I love the mystery to this story that brings both Jamie’s and Ryan’s pasts together in a unique way. It also allows them to work together to solve the mystery much to Ryan’s dismay. I love Jamie and Ryan’s chemistry and getting to experience the depth of their love through this new challenge. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

All the thrills and more with what you would expect in a Kenner novel. Loved the concept of a estranged relationship between one our favorite couples within the series and to see the push and pull and then the journey in which they overcome... or will they through the story?!
Besides Nikki and Damien, I have really enjoyed Jamie and her fiery personality and to see her and Ryan on the fence with their relationship; really spruced up my heart and at times I had to encourage myself to breathe. Loved the turn of events with this novel.. way to go Julie!

Withstanding the test of time
I have not met a book by this author that I did not enjoy. Ryan and Jamie are two of my favorite characters, so I was glad to read more about them. It seems like just when their relationship is on track for the perfect HEA the past has to reappear. No worries though, the author did what she always does, her hot protective alpha male made sure his lady knew no matter what popped up she is his one. I loved all of the twists this story took and of course the intense erotic moments on any surface they could find. I loved the ending and the new characters we met, I can’t wait to for the next book by this author. It is sure to be steamy.

We’ve touched base with Jamie and Ryan in two other stark world novellas, and Tease Me is another brilliantly written chapter in the story.
Full of classic Julie writing, this book has a mysterious person, a dark secret, a haunting past, and characters who need to heal and learn to live with the scars of their life.
I loved reading this sorry and never want to give up the Stark Universe. Thankfully, Julie’s characters are endless and all have wonderful stories that need to be told. Tease me is a definite must read!!

A steamy compelling tale I couldn’t put down. Great story with plenty of plot twists. This book definitely had my attention. The author created an erotic romance that swirled around an intriguing mystery. I really liked the characters. If you are familiar with the Stark series then it will feel like catching up with old friends. Only this time we learn there is more to our friends than we thought. And we know hidden stories always come to light. An incredible tale you don’t want to miss!

I love being in the Stark World! Ryan and Jamie have been a favorite of mine since the beginning of time it seems. Now that we are in London we still get a whole lot of steamy scenes. But the past is lurking in the shadows for Ryan. I was on the edge and wondering who and what. This story gets into the nitty gritty.
Jamie and Ryan have a whole lot of mess to go through. Trust, love, and ghosts from the past. I loved it all!!! I Love how Ryan and Jamie have me swooning over love!!!! Revisit the Stark world friends! You don't want to miss it.

I am in love with anything involving the Stark World and with Tease Me, I forgot how much I loved Jamie, Ryan and their relationship. It was nice to get a glimpse back into their lives and the marriage.
Tease Me was packed full of action, suspense, and steam. Jamie and Ryan have some of the most explosive chemistry. I couldn’t get enough of these two. Ryan has been away for weeks working in London and Jamie misses her husband, so why not fly there and surprise him. A surprise that Ryan very much enjoyed. However, that enjoyment doesn’t last long.
I loved the glimpse into Ryan’s past, pre-Stark time, but that past quickly came back and threatened his relationship with Jamie. This story had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! I was hooked and couldn’t put down my kindle. I was completely sucked into the suspense and had to know what was going to happen next, finding out if someone from Ryan’s past is truly back or if it is something else entirely.

I'm a huge J.Kenner fan, love pretty much everything she writes, especially the Stark/Stark International Series. This book definitely has it all, mystery, suspense, lots of twists and turns, intrigue, hot steamy scenes that only this author can write, and an interesting ending. Although I loved the book, I think it was a bit long in parts, and I can't believe I'm saying this, she could have cut back a couple of the bedroom scenes with Jamie and Ryan. Don't get me wrong, definitely hot, but don't think they all appropriately fit into the story. Overall, another great book in the series, definitely worth the read.

Tease Me by J. Kenner is one amazingly hot and steamy read!
I love reading about the characters in the Stark series and this book didn't fail.
Be warned though, as you will definitely need to cool down after reading this book!
