The Ministry of Health has announced on Wednesday morning (15th April 2020) that Trinidad and Tobago now has a total of 114 positive cases of COVID-19 - adding yet another case since Sunday morning’s update. So far there have been eight (8) deaths and nineteen (19) persons have been discharged - two (2) more from Caura Hospital. The Ministry said the new positive case is a contact of a person who has a history of recent travel. From the 114 total positive cases, 52 of these came from the group of T&T Nationals who recently returned from the cruise. The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) has tested a total of 1,282 samples to date. See the Media Release below from the Ministry for further information.
