Unaccompanied Veteran being buried Tuesday in Abilene, public encouraged to attend

ABILENE, Texas — An unaccompanied Veteran will be buried Tuesday in Abilene. The public is encouraged to attend.

Michael Reginald Gibson, 60, of Abilene, served in the United States Air Force from 1978 to 1979.

He passed away March 26.

The funeral home has been unable to reach any family members.

Gibson will be buried at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

The Texas Veterans Land Board is asking folks to come out so Gibson is not buried alone.
