Helping the Wildcats to a 3-0 week, Linfield pitcher
Shelby Saylors has been named Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week. The announcement was made Monday afternoon after a vote and nomination from the conference's sports information directors. The honor is Saylors' third of the season.
In the circle, Saylors earned three wins where she threw 15 innings and struck out 16. She holds a 3.47 ERA and leads the team with 14 wins in 2019. Two of Saylors wins were also shut outs over Whitworth.
