4/18 Lunch Talk with CMA President Dr. Aizuss
TL;DR - Thursday April 18th, noon-1pm, MCH 249, Urbana Masala and Sprinkles

The Keck SOM of USC’s local AMA section and the Gehr Center have invited the current California Medical Association’s president, Dr. David Aizuss, to speak to our students and faculty about the power of organized medicine and how being a member of the CMA has shaped his career. We hope this talk will be an opportunity to learn how one can be a physician citizen scientist and the impact our collective voice as physicians has had in shaping health policy. Many students and faculty members are not aware of the work done by the CMA or AMA. This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about what organized medicine has accomplished and how one can participate in policy advocacy even as a medical student or busy physician.
