eHarlemTV  has been highlighting the people, places, events and culture of East Harlem on MNN since 2010. During this holiday season they bring us A Mariachi Christmas! Students and teachers of the only Mariachi school of it’s kind on the East Coast, The Mariachi Academy of NY, interpret traditional Spanish language Christmas songs and discuss why this program is so important to their community.

The Gracias Choir has the special power to comfort listeners and to change their sadness to joy.
