Come join us for a 1-hour discussion (in French) of Camara Laye's L'enfant noir on Wednesday, July 22 at 6:30 pm ET/3:30 pm PT.

You don't have to prepare in advance. Feel free to come and listen! Participate at whatever level you feel comfortable at.

This is the eighth in a biweekly series of book discussions with Anna and Marianne.

This is the LAST of our bi-weekly summer discussions. We'll resume monthly in September.

Marianne, who was born and raised in Dakar, Senegal, teaches French in the Los Angeles Unified School District. She is currently working on her doctorate in Educational Organization and Global Studies at Pepperdine University. Anna is also a French teacher; she holds a PhD in French literature from Duke University and is based in Silver Spring, MD, just outside Washington, DC. Anna is co-director of Elevate Education Consulting www.elevateeducationconsulting.com and teaches Upper School French at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, MD.

Cost for the 1-hour discussion is $10-$20 (sliding scale). If you can't afford $10-$20, pay what you can or take it as a gift.
