Event Description
Electric car owners will celebrate National Drive Electric Week 2019 in Las Vegas on Saturday, September 14th, from 10 AM to 2 PM. An electric car rally will convene at Springs Preserve, located at 333 S. Valley View, Las Vegas, NV 89107.
Electric car owners will gather in the Springs Preserve parking lot under a photovoltaic solar canopy that tracks the sun.
Power from the solar array is available to recharge plug-in electric cars within the parking area, at two dual-port ChargePoint stations with four SAE J1772 AC Level 2 charging plugs.
Exhibitor display tables will include local organizations who are supporting the adoption of electric cars within the state of Nevada. Food and beverages will be available.
Meet other electric car owners and enthusiasts, who will be gathering to share their experiences with electric car technologies, solar power, and charging station infrastructure within southern Nevada.

National Drive Electric Week 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada is sponsored by the Las Vegas Electric Vehicle Association, a chapter of the international Electric Auto Association. The event is also supported by the local Sierra Club Toiyabe chapter, Las Vegas Tesla Owners and Enthusiasts Group, Citizens Climate Lobby, Nevada Conservation League, FIRST Nevada, the Green Alliance of Nevada, NV Energy, and other "clean energy transportation" enthusiasts.
