08 Feb “How would you tackle some of Asia’s biggest challenges in the run-up to 2030?” Join the Youth Global Essay Competition “Asia’s Challenge 2030”

Join “Asia’s Challenge 2030, ” a global essay competition, and win the chance to join a virtual fireside chat with prominent business leaders in Asia such as CTC Co-founder George Tahija. Organized by the Asia Business Council with Blavatnik School of Government as academic partner and Nikkei Asia as media partner, this competition aims to discuss challenges and potential solutions for Asia’s continued competitiveness in the next decade. Young people aged 18-22 years old of all nationalities and backgrounds are invited to submit essays on “How would you tackle some of Asia’s biggest challenges in the run-up to 2030?”.  

Coral Triangle Center Co-founder Mr. George Tahija will be one of the adjudicators and speakers for the virtual fireside chat, along with two other speakers, Mr. Nobuyoshi (John) Ehara (Partner and Co-founder of Unison Capital) and Ms. Zhang Xin (Chief Executive Officer of Soho China Ltd.). Each of these speakers will focus on a certain topic. Mr. Tahija will be focusing on public health and the natural environment, discussing pandemics, mental health and wellbeing, climate change and marine conservation. 

The submission deadline for the essay is 30th April 2021, submitted electronically by 12 noon Hong Kong Time.
