ORIGINAL STORY:

Abilene police are looking for a young child taken from Ortiz Elementary School Friday morning.

According to police, Caden Ginn was taken from the school by his mother, believed to be Krista Altman, and an unknown older white male with a grey beard.

Police issued a 'Be On The Lookout' just after 10:30 a.m. The BOLO called it a "child abduction."

Ginn is described as 3'11'', 52 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes.

The child was wearing a black and grey t-shirt with 'The Avengers' on the front.

He was also wearing olive green pants and orange and black shoes.

Police say Altman's phone was last pinged near Santa Anna in Coleman County.

The BOLO stated she was a non-custodial parent.

Police say they want to find the child for a welfare check.

If you see Altman, Ginn or the car, please call 911 or Abilene police at 325-673-8331.
