Description

Based on the success of our first Equal Housing event, BME Participation in Senior Housing Roles in February, we are now holding our second event, Equal Housing: Females of the Future.

Kam Shergill is a Social Housing recruitment specialist at Niyaa People and after working in the industry for over a year and studying women in leadership at university, we thought this would be an interesting discussion for the next gathering.

"Studying Women in Leadership allowed me to summarise three key factors that I believed contributed towards the statistics we wish to change in today’s society. These were: the gender pay gap, Women’s motivation and gender stereotypes. Ultimately, the question is – what does it take to reach the top for Women in Housing?"

Guest Speaker

  • Karen Armitage - Housing CEO

  • Kate Still - COO at WM Housing

  • Kate Still - COO at WM Housing

  • Baljinder Kang - Exec Director of HR & learning at Midland Heart
