Audi A8L Horch 2022.

The top sedan Audi A8L Horch is not quite what was expected.

The Germans have presented a flagship sedan Audi A8L Horch with the world premiere at the motor show in Guangzhou in November.

This modification is based on a restyled version of the A8 model — it will be presented soon.

Externally the car is distinguished by new headlights and different bumpers that will get a standard sedan.

A special grille with vertical bars, 20-inch wheels with exclusive design, enhanced chrome trim and corresponding decals were added to the car with the prefix «Horch» in the name.

But most importantly, the new Audi A8L Horch 2022 has received stretched by 130 millimeters body — the total length of such a sedan is 5 450 mm.

True, unlike its key competitor Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Z223 which has original rear pillars with additional windows in them, here are limited only by enlarged aperture of rear doors.

Moreover — the interior of A8L Horch has almost no interesting features.

Of course, this sedan is already in the base has separate rear seats with electric drive, ventilation and massage function, a massive central tunnel with cooled cupholders and a console with a touch screen, as well as an expensive leather and wood veneer trim.

However, all it for additional payment is accessible and for usual Audi A8 Long, and here have been added except for firm cushions for back passengers and an inscription «Horch», that not to forget for what it was given considerable money. And of course, it became much more spacious in legs.

It’s interesting that at first Audi A8L Horch 2022 is going to be sold only in China — the key market for the «eight» where up to 60 % of all made cars go.

Because of a local taxation the car had to be equipped with a 3,0-liter petrol V6 turbo engine with 340 hp capacity as cars with engines of big volume are not too popular in China.

In fact, there were rumors that the revived Horch could get flagship engine W12, but in fact it did not get even V8.

It will be produced in Germany, the prices will be announced later. It is possible that in the future sales geography and engine lineup will be expanded, but at the moment there is no information about it.
