Student Achievements

Timothy O'Toole, of Clinton; and Alexa Cormier, of Sterling, were named to the summer 2021 dean’s list at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. 

West Boylston resident Lillian Triola enrolled at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., for the fall 2021 semester. Triola’s selected major is intelligence analysis.

Rozak, Gibbons selected to 2021 Massachusetts Super Lawyers list 

Kimberly Rozak

Kimberly Rozak, of Boylston; and Robert Gibbons, of Clinton, were selected to the 2021 Massachusetts Super Lawyers list. 

Rozak is a partner in the Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Group at Mirick O'Connell. She currently serves as counsel to various employers, in the public and private sectors, including for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. She regularly advises clients on a broad range of topics, such as the drafting and implementation of personnel policies, discipline and termination practices, and employment and non-compete agreements.  

Robert Gibbons

Gibbons is a partner in the Litigation Group at Mirick O'Connell. He currently concentrates his practice in commercial litigation where he handles a broad range of business matters involving commercial contracts, banking, construction, commercial landlord-tenant disputes, complex collections and fiduciary fraud. 

Each year, no more than 5% of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. 

Baer selected to 2021 Massachusetts Rising Stars list 

Amanda Baer

Amanda Baer, of Boylston, a partner in Mirick O'Connell's Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Group, was selected to the 2021 Massachusetts Rising Stars list.   

In her employment litigation practice, Baer defends employers of all sizes, including Fortune 100 and Fortune 400 companies, against claims of and/or involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, disability accommodations and wage and hour laws. On behalf of employers, she prosecutes and defends claims involving noncompetition, nonsolicitation and confidentiality agreements.  

Each year, no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. 

Clinton’s CARE Food Pantry supported by bankHometown 

Robert Morton, president and CEO of bankHometown, announced the start of the bank’s annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors fundraising drive for 2021 to help support local food pantries, including the CARE Food Pantry in Clinton. 

This marks the bank’s 18th year of hosting the program, which invites bank customers, employees and community members to donate money toward food pantries throughout the month of November. All donations, up to $2,500 per customer, will be matched dollar for dollar by bankHometown, and the total raised will be divided among participating food pantries across Massachusetts and Connecticut in the communities the bank serves. 

Those who wish to participate have until Nov. 30 to make their donations. Checks should be made payable to “bankHometown Neighbors” and can be dropped off at any bankHometown branch or mailed to Mary Mulrenin, executive secretary, bankHometown, 31 Sutton Ave., Oxford, MA 01450.
