East Families and Students,
Monday, November 1, is Parent/Teacher Conference Day and we are excited to have a chance to discuss your student's progress. In an effort to streamline the planning and communication, we have a Sign Up Genius created for you to choose your time slot, which teacher you want to meet with, and the method by which you would like to meet (Zoom or In-Person). AP EXAM REGISTRATION
- AP Exam Registration is open! This is a two-step process:
1. Complete the registration process that starts at this link through Total Registration. https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/181982
2. Enroll in all your AP courses and exams at https://myap.collegeboard.org/login with the course codes from your teacher.
- Cost is $20 and the deadline to enroll/register is November 1st. Any registrations made after November 1st will include a $25 late fee. Exams that are not paid in full by November 9th will be canceled.

ATHLETIC EVENT TICKETING
- JCS Athletics is cashless this year. We are using the platform GoFan for ticket sales for all middle and high school athletic events. If you plan to attend an athletic event, please use the GoFan mobile app or follow the link posted on the East and West High School athletic websites. In addition, spectators may purchase tickets at the gate using posted QR codes or by using a debit/credit card. Please contact your school's athletic director if you have questions. We would love for you to join us!
PATTERSON INFORMATION STATION
- Make Up Picture Day - Thursday, Nov. 4th
Students will receive appointment slips by Thursday, Oct. 28th. Appointment times will also be posted on yellow signs around the school. This is the last opportunity to have pictures taken this school year. Contact Mrs. Patterson @ Patty.Patterson@jessamine.kyschools.us if you have any questions. - Senior Picture Proofs will be delivered in a few weeks at school.
- Checkpoints™ Program - This program is currently offered the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Jessamine Career & Technology Center. Click here for more information.
- Junior Class Ring - See Mrs. Patterson for Herff Jones ring packets in the Media Tech Center. Rings ordered now will be available before Christmas Break.
Class Ring Catalog Online Ordering Link - Class of 2022 Seniors - The Herff Jones Company is providing East Jessamine High School's Official Graduation Announcements, Caps & Gowns, and Senior Year Keepsakes for the Class of 2022. Orders can also be given to Mrs. Patterson in the Media Tech Center or you can mail in your order form. Reach out to Mrs. Patterson if you have any questions. - Seniors: Mrs. Patterson will be emailing you when your Herff Jones orders have been delivered to EJHS.
- Alive at 25 in-person classes will be held at East Jessamine High School on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 4:30pm - 8:30pm. In order to complete the Graduated Driver Licensing Program in Kentucky you must be at least 16 years of age and a Kentucky Permit or Intermediate license holder. Graduated Driver License classes are FREE to students that need to meet the 4-hour mandatory requirement. Students can register by going to: www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on “Alive at 25” under “Courses” or call: 502-699-2995.
- EJHS 2021 Yearbooks are here. You can pick up your yearbook from Mrs. Patterson in the Media Tech Center.

- Election Day - Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 - No School
- Jessamine County High Schools - 2022 Philadelphia Senior Trip from April 20-24, 2022 All payments must be made in person to Mrs. Patterson at East High School. Contract and deposit of $250.00 due by October 29th, 2021 to Mrs. Patterson. You can pay with cash, check, or credit. If you choose credit please inform Mrs. Patterson before October 29th so she can get the amount entered in Infinite Campus.

- Need help with the FAFSA? Schedule a time to meet with someone to help you complete your FAFSA on October 20th from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm. Please make sure you bring all of the materials needed with you, so we can submit your FAFSA that day! Register here!
- If you are interested in exploring your options with the military, you can sign up for the ASVAB on November 3rd here!
- If you are interested in learning more about the trade and technical programs at BCTC and would like to go on a field trip to BCTC's Manufacturing Campus in Georgetown, please complete this form. Mrs. Mulcahy will make sure you get a permission slip to attend on November 9th!
- Are you interested in going to Morehead? Join us on October 18th at 9 am in the media center to meet with our admissions counselor! You must register here to attend!

MENTAL HEALTH MINUTE
- Our Mental Health Counselor, Kasey Puckett, will provide a Mental Health Minute for our families each week. Take a quick moment each week to review the pointers from Kasey!
