Professor Jo Angouri, Academic Director for Education and Internationalisation

"Hello and welcome to AISP, the Alliance Intensive Study Programme.

My name is Professor Jo Angouri and I'm the Academic Director for Education and Internationalisation and responsible for AISP here at the University of Warwick.

AISP is a dynamic, global learning programme enabling students to work in short, intensive credit bearing units in a blended learning environment.

AISP has been developed under the Warwick Monash Alliance and brings together students across institutions and across disciplines. The AISP units are designed to be global in orientation, interdisciplinary and draw on active learning. That means that they empower the students to apply theory to practice and to make connections between the learning and real world problems from the start of the programme.

This is AISP's first year and we are very excited to welcome our first cohort. Given the impact and the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are particularly excited to offer to our students an opportunity to experience global learning without relying on physical mobility.

Welcome to AISP. "
