Needed a neutral colored couch that would fit in our living room and this was perfect.  It is not visually overwhelming in our living space. We are retired with no children, grandchildren or house pets. This couch is exactly as pictured and is perfect for how we use it. We both have our own chairs and sit on the couch occasionally.  I don't think it would hold up to rambunctious children or pets or be comfortable for anyone over 6' tall. Assembly would probably take two people less time. I am a female over 60 and it took me about 40 minutes (it was not difficult - just that another pair of hands would have helped hold at times but I couldn't wait). I appreciate that the couch came disassembled into 5 pieces and the cushions were vacuum packed to save space - that way I could get it into the house by myself when it was delivered. Overall an amazing piece for the price.

Medium Sized w/ Huge Impact for Not a Lot of $$$

The product is nice.  Fabric sturdy and well made.  The size 73 inches seems small for what I actually wanted/expected. But over all - I love the couch.  I have taken a few naps on it already and it is very comfortable. The only thing I would change is that it could have ""flip-able"" cushions - meaning I wish they were same fabric on all sides. Other than that I recommend this product.  It was simple to put together - delivery was smooth.

Great sofa for staging a modular.  Clean look, attractive and economical.

Would highly recommend this sofa for staging projects.

I moved into a new apartment and my previous sofa didn't fit in the elevator or stairwell. I need a smaller sofa and fast. I came across the Serta sofa and it had several decent reviews. When I received the sofa I needed to assemble it. It was fairly easy but is much easier with two people.  The fabric is nice but I don't like that you can see where the velcro attaches on the back of the sofa. It wouldn't normally bother me but my sofa is in the middle of a tiny apartment. The only other complaint I have is with the springs. They are incredibly loud when you sit down and at times in concerned my husband will break the sofa. He is 6'1 and 170 pounds.

Decent quality

it was easy to assemble but its to small to short the back forget leaning back its short from the back of the seat to the front I'm 5ft 3in and it just fits me maybe  for a kids room its okay or a bedroom to sit  but for a tall person to come over I would offer them a chair instead so they don't make fun of your choice of sofa the fabric is thick  I am comfortable if I had to sleep on it.  also the back pillow's the first day looked okay then they looked uninflated the next day so I went and spent $15 on 2 bags of batting and wrapped the inside stuffing in it and Ta Da it looks great  I'm getting another bag of batting to lay inside the seat cushion's just to smoother it out and its  better now but is still  to darn short  so I guess i'll shove this in my room and keep looking for another sofa but this time i'll go looking for one here in my town. This was a good lesson to me to listen to the people I know and go try the sofa out first to be sure

Check the measurements closely

I bought 2 of these sofas. If you're going to use them a lot I'm not sure if you should purchase them. First of all I had to buy industrial Velcro because the cushion move around a lot. Only one side of the cushion is usuable so it's ok to put Velcro on the other side. Same with the back cushions which have Velcro on them already but it's cheap and doesn't work. Height from the floor to the seat is 18"" and description says 19"". The size of the sofa is perfect for my living room and the fabric is ok. If I didn't have to take them apart and box them back up I might return them, but I figure for now they will do. One more thing, when I bought them it said I would have them by a certain date. They didn't come. Hayneedle has a hard time getting in touch with the supplier to find out any info. Then they told me they were out of stock until Jan 13, so I canceled the order. They arrived anyway a few days after that communication. So I kept them, kind of wishing they hadn't come.

I wouldn't buy again

fabric is nice but overall poor quality.  the back pillows don't stay up and fluffy. I just bought it 2 weeks ago and looks like 6 months old, cheap sofa.  not happy with it.

Threads hanging, half unboxed when it arrived, cushions didnt fill the materials.

Worst purchase ever

Terrible product. I'd return if I could I've had it assembled for 3 days and already arranged to give it away. So uncomfortable. Back cushions too thick and pushes you forward almost off the couch. Seat cushions don't keep their shape. If cushions had been factory installed instead of the way they came it might have worked, but as is they're unacceptable and it already looks terrible. Can't believe what I paid for it. Will never buy a Serta product again.

Do not buy.

This is the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I've ever owned! It's not holding up well either. Yeah, it's cheap...but it's still not worth the money.
