#5 - Tackling Global Issues with Aergo, August 2019
Dear Aergo Community,
This month we've seen significant traction with our strategic partner, Blocko, in gaining interest among major Korean banks such as Shinhan Bank (South Korea's oldest bank), South Korea's largest foreign exchange bank, KEB Hana Bank, and support from healthcare-focused VC firm LB Investment and the venture arm of Seoul-based entertainment startup Dadam Game.
Such support has secured Blocko a 9 Billion KRW ($7.5 Million USD) Series B+ funding round on August 22, 2019. A warm thanks to our backers and partners all around, as this month we've paved way to enter new frontiers.
As Aergo scales out globally to tackle more markets, Dubai became apparent as a ripe region to innovate and offer our powerful infrastructure to. We look forward to greatly expanding the scope of Aergo's usage throughout the Middle East alongside The Private Office & SEED Group.
