En Venezuela, el culto católico a diferentes vírgenes Marianas tiene un gran arraigo y devoción. La Virgen de Betania es una de ellas, en la cual me he inspirado en crear esta ilustración no solo para representar un culto muy venezolano, sino que además como manera de agradecimiento a los favores concedidos en su santuario ubicada en la carretera Nacional Cúa- San Casimiro, estado Miranda.
In Venezuela, the Catholic cult of different Marian virgins is deeply rooted and devotional. The Virgin of Betania is one of them, in which I have been inspired to create this illustration not only to represent a very Venezuelan cult, but also as a way of thanking the favors granted in its sanctuary located on the Cúa-San National Highway Casimiro, Miranda state.
