Lions Re-Sign ERFA DL Christian Ringo

The Detroit Lions officially re-signed exclusive rights free agent DL Christian Ringo on Monday.

Ringo, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was later signed to their practice squad and eventually brought back on a future/reserve contract.

The Packers re-signed Ringo to a one-year, exclusive rights contract last year before cutting him loose coming out of the preseason. The Bengals later claimed him off of waivers only to waive him a week later.

Ringo caught on with the Lions in September and played out the season in Detroit. The Lions placed an exclusive rights tender on him this offseason.

In 2017, Ringo appeared in six games for the Lions and recorded three tackles and no sacks.
