If you're a fan of sexy time-travelling drama Outlander then do we have an Easter treat for you.

Starz has uploaded a brand-new teaser trailer for the third season of the show, which follows Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) after the events of the season two finale split them up across the eras.

Let's have a look-see, shall we?

As we can see, Claire isn't exactly living her best life now that she's back in 1948 with husband Frank, when she really wants to be with her attractive Scottish warrior back in the 18th century. (We don't blame her really.)

Jamie, for his part, is looking similarly anguished. He's also seen baring his chest at one point which, let's face it, is in the top two reasons why we watch Outlander in the first place.

The other reason is because it's great, obviously. Even Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin was furious the show didn't win an Emmy.

Season three is set to adapt Voyager, the third in Diana Gabaldon's series of novels, although we've been warned the show could start taking its own direction.

And, if you weren't already aware, the show has already been renewed for a fourth season, which means that although Claire and Jamie had to say goodbye to each other, at least we won't have to for a little while yet.

Outlander season three will return with 13 more episodes in September on Starz in the US. Amazon Prime airs the show in the UK.
