Bull

Who would've known what I'd find in that fucking basement. More importantly, who knew what I was gonna do.

It felt natural, to take off my cut and place it over her shoulders. She'd been exposed for god knows how long, and all I could think is that I didn't want another man's eyes raking over her body.

In putting my cut over her, I was claiming her as mine.

Alexa may not know it, but she's my lost little lamb and I won't let anyone harm her ever again.

I think it was a tad too rushed for me : here is what happens to the heroine.
Kidnapped>loses an eye>is rescued>has sex just after she is rescued and missing an eye (because that’s not traumatic at all and of course anyone would want to get laid after all this)> is claimed as an old lady with the guy she just had sex with>moves in with the guy>has a threesome>reveals she is an fbi profiler> reveals her parents were serial killers>has a birthday threesome>her father escaped from prison and is killed while he tried attacking her >HEA

Bull by Elizabeth Knox was one of the best books I have read this year. This is the seventh book in the Reapers MC series. This book had me laughing, crying, angry, wanting to hurt someone. I had all the feels. This book has drama, heat, angst, action, suspense, romance, MC, revenge, secrets. The book is well written and has very likeable characters. I did not want to put the book down. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

"Well!" What a ride this author took us on and this story was packed from beginning to end and we loved every minute we were turning the pages. And Omg ! What a claiming ! Can you say fireworks ?

This story had a great cast of characters from the villainous to the ones we loved as they were totally awesome.

My favorite pick this time around is going to be Alexa/Lola that women just surprised me the most of how strong she was not only in body but, in mind and spirit to go through all that she went through to come out of it all without turning her into a bitter women but, she just seemed to move on from it all .This women had some serious backbone and we just loved her gumption as well as her outlook on life. Alexa was also kind, loving sexy, and had a wicked sense of humor but, was also just as beautiful on the inside as she was out.

Bull we found him to be sexy, had a sense of humor, protective, kind, dangerous but, there was so much more beneath his surface that anyone ever realized and we loved getting to know the real man beneath that surface. We loved that the man although being gruff and dangerous he could be soft and loving. Bull was one of those bad boys that any women would be drawn to! "Heck", he had me panting after him myself . lol

We loved that this couple could be further than compatible but, there were just perfect for one another and their chemistry scorching. The sex scenes hotter than hell and there was definitely fireworks between this couple..

There was just something about this story that touched on my emotions and I think it was just the couple themselves as we were drawn to them.Chemistry and spark are important but, what this couple were seeking from one another went way deeper and that and love and trust that had them wanting their lover having more out of a life that they could provide but, soon realizing that if that happened they would be living only a half and life without one another and is that even an option?

Overall we loved it from beginning to end the entire story as it was a page turner for us and it was filled with love, suspense, drama and big reveals and a love worth keeping and the sacrifices that would be made to keep it. This author is definitely master storyteller and we just love her all the wonderful stories she has creates for us.

Keep in mind this is book 7, and though it may seem OK to read as a standalone, you miss a lot by not reading the first books in the series. Plus, there are spoilers if you think it'll be OK to go and read later.

This was my first Elizabeth Knox book, and it won't be my last. I need to know what happens with the rest of the guys. Bull and Alexa or Lola, are so perfect for each other. She's been through a lot, and he saw that she needed someone, thought he'd be the perfect guy for her and took that and ran with it. And even when she tried to pull away he didn't let her. Good for him. Alexa is understandably wary of guys. People in general to be honest. With her previous life I totally get it. But someone like Bull she was not expecting. Her sassyness and spun is the perfect counter to how bullish, Bull can be at times. He needs a strong woman, just like he needs a strong man, and they got that in spades. Like I said previously though, there are minor spoilers to the other books in this one, but noting major I don't think. If you don't mine that, I'd recommend a read of this one.

They say The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree but the difference is how you use it.
I'll let you you figure out what I mean by that when you read the book.
As usual for any of Ms. Knox books it was good. The writing flowed well and kept me interested.
I had to take a star off because I felt not everything that was brought up was answered and the ending was rushed. I would have liked a little more of when they admitted their feelings especially since he was for sure not ever going to have an ol' lady and what about the club whore that was in love with him? If it wasn't going to be part of the rest of the book then it should have been left out.
Please don't let this put you off on this book because it was good but not as good as others in the series.
For adults only please

OMG Elizabeth never ceases to amaze me with this series. With each book it gets hotter and hotter and the action and suspense is crazier. Bull I think is one of my favorite so far because man oh man so much happened in this story that had me swooning over Bull making me wish he was real so I could scoop him up and love him to death.

We meet Alexa and Bull in this story and how they meet is not under normal circumstances but under duress. Alexa is taken by a rival MC and Bull and his MC are hired to find her and rescue her and bring her back home. When Bull comes to the rescue he never thought he would do what he did and feel what he did towards Alexa.

Alexa and Bull have a long way to go but together they can make it if they try and stick together. What happens to these two is amazing and a must read story for all MC lovers out there.

Bull and Alexa will have you on an emotional rollercoaster. This action-packed story that is filled with so much will have you on the edge of your seat. Once you start you will not put it down until it is finished. It is well written with dynamic characters that makes this book sizzle.

Bull is a Reaper's MC member and he meets Alexa when a rival mc kidnaps her. Bull and his mc brothers are hired to find her and bring her home. Bull never expected to feel and do the things he does regarding Alexa. Alexa was the perfect woman for him. The couple have to go through so much to be together. A good read.

Years ago Alexa attempt to do the right thing has placed her in a very dangerous situation. The past she wants to forget has now resurfaced and she now finds herself being kidnapped and assaulted with no reprieve in sight until Bull and his MC come storming to her rescue.

When Bull is asked to help rescue Alexa he agreed because of who her captors were but he wasn’t prepared for the feelings she raised that he thought were dead. From the moment he saw her he claimed her but will she be able to accept his way of life and will he be able to protect her from her past?

“I’ve seen a lot of brothers get their ol’ ladies in interesting ways, but you earned the cake on this one, Bull.”

I've never read anything by this author BUT love a good MC romance so I figured I had little to lose & added it on my list. I was a little nervous about it being the 7th installment, assuming I may be a little lost on previous events I was sure were going to be brought up. It was evident I missed a ton, but the author did a good job at covering all the base info necessary for me to not be completely lost. The story was an interesting one & even a little smutty, but it also had its share of issues (detailed below). I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it necessarily either.

“I’m not the type of man who’s gentle, darlin’. I take what I want, when I want it and you’re tempting the damn beast right now.”

Book Facts: Told in dual POV, this is the 7th installment in the Reapers MC series. Its an interconnected standalone set in a world of outlaw motorcycle clubs & violence. It contains a HFN ending with an 8th installment planned that will hopefully include these two at some point.
Trigger: Contains disturbing acts of violence/torture towards heroine, her recounts of murder/torture of others during childhood, & questionable consent.

Timeline of Thoughts:
Starting: A good MC romance? I'm here for it....
13%: Its obvious this is the 7th of a series, but so far its working as a standalone. SIDE NOTE: Hell yeah to the heroines age!
23%: WTF is up with all the off-topic rambling?
25%: I love the dark stuff, but even this might be too much for me. This is a new one for me when it comes to my heroine.
39%: Such a small scene BUT held so much emotion. Definitely hit me in the feels.
48%: I'm glad that was cleared up....I truly had no idea what an Enforcer was lol.
50%: Okay now, some of this feels a lot like questionable consent.... which totally ruined such a hot scene.
78%: There are a lot of contradictions in this book.
91%: I would definitely read Zane's story no matter the issues I had w this one. He is delicious.
96%: Oh no! I didn't see that happening. I wish I was more connected with this characters (read from start).
Finished: That was an abrupt ending, but it was fitting.

"The Five":
Loves from Book: the members list in front, Blackjack, washcloth scene, "little lamb", Fist.
Hates from Book: the off-plot rambling, Grizzly, questionable consent, the contradictions, Flynn.
Quotes:
“Got somethin’ to say, old man?” “You’ve been in this lifestyle long enough to know what you’re doin’ right now.”
-Bull & Fist

"I’m gonna be blunt with you, darlin’. I’m gonna fuck you like you’re mine and I don’t slow down. You’ve seen my cock, so if you wanna back out now’s your one chance."
-Bull

"Darlin’, I don’t know how many times I’ve gotta say this shit. I got you. It’s about time you start trusting me. Don’t ya think?"
-Bull

“All by having lunch with one old man.” She mutters in a low tone, smirking as she finishes speaking. I nod, “Yep. It’s crazy how one conversation with a stranger can lead you on a completely different life path.”
-Alexa & Bull

"Lola was a scared, naïve little girl who only wanted to stay alive. Now I’m known by Alexa. Alexa is so much different than Lola. Alexa is a survivor."
-Alexa

Final Thoughts:
1. Fav Thing from Book: I would have to say the age of the heroine....its so refreshing having a leading lady who isn't in her 20s and literal perfection.
2. Least Fav Thing from Book: It would have to be what Alexa goes through in captivity, it was hard to read.
3. Alexa: Criminal Profiler for FBI. She is a total spitfire & tough as nails. Had a very rough childhood with sadistic parents, which results in her not being able to trust easily. She has never been in love or been in a serious relationship.
4. Bull: Enforcer of the Billings charter of the Reapers MC. He is all alpha with a dbl serving of asshole-ness, but he also has a sweet side. He lost his only love (along w his legs) while deployed as a Marine, so he is scared to settle down again.
5. MY Issues: It has a more informative feel to it that doesn't at all flow the way I am used to. There is tons of off-topic rambling, like the POV characters were nervous & suffering from word vomit daily.
EX: (sees knife on table) It must be five or six inches long. If I’m not mistaken, it’s a hunting knife. I’ve never gone hunting or killed anything in my entire life. Or, crap, that’s a lie. I hit a rabbit when I was twenty . I tried to stop but the little fucker was an idiot and ran faster. I cried for a while but accepted it for what it is, Darwinism in its finest form.
The last issue was the "in your face" contradictions and unrealistic scenarios in the story.

"Lola was a petrified little girl. Alexa was the name I took when I decided not to be scared anymore.”

Overall, I wanted to love this book & in some ways I kinda did. The original premise felt promising, and at times I was fascinated with everything I was experiencing through Alexa & Bull. Unfortunately, it just didn't do it for me. Maybe if I had read the other books it would have felt a little more connectable, but I didn't. If you are a fan of this series & characters already, this is one of those that is going to for sure shock you, excite you, & then when you think its safe.... totally rip your heart out. And in the end, I guess the true fans are what really matter.

“Little lamb, do you trust me?” “I’m s-scared, Bull.” “Answer me.” “I don’t know.” “You need to start, ‘cause I’m your fuckin’ shepherd. It’s my job to protect you and the herd. I’m an enforcer, baby. This is what I do.”

Bull thought he lost everything when he lost Arizona. Alexa is still running from her past, even though it has caught up to her with deadly intent. Fist is still buried in his sorrow and depression after losing Saffron. The entire club is out for blood of the Bears MC after their clubhouse was destroyed and Saffron was murdered.

Alexa is an FBI Profiler, with a history in her life that gives her a unique point of view. She was taken from her home and tortured by the Prez and VP of the Bears to get information on the father she sent to prison when she was a teenager. She has no idea where he is or even that he was working for the Bears since his escape from prison. Grizzly has Alexa beaten with tire irons, hung up by chains, starved, and severely dehydrated with the bare minimum of food and water; then just before the Reapers storm the castle Grizzly removes one of Alexa's eyes.

Bull and the crew get notice of where the Bears are and are asked by the ATF to help find Alexa as they suspect the Bears might have taken her.. When Bull and the MC get to the hidden clubhouse, they find it empty and torn up but they also find a bleeding woman hanging from the ceiling in the basement. Bull gets her down from the chains and does something that shocks not only his brothers but himself and covers Alexa's naked body in not only his hoody but also his cut which for a member of any MC is a big thing. It means that Bull has claimed her as his ol' lady. He and Blackjack stay behind to take care of Alexa, they are able to save her from anymore damage to the eye socket although weren't able to save her eye. Before heading back home, Bull stakes a more physical claim on Alexa although she doesn't know exactly what happened when Bull gave her his cut.

Secrets come out, Bull explaining what giving his cut to Alexa means, that he had a relationship that was a bit closer than best friends with one of the club whores, and that she had gone into WITSEC and her job because her mother and father were serial killers and psychopaths.. She also found out that Grizzly was after her because her father was working with the Bears and he was trying to use her to find her father.

After a few stumbling blocks, finding out that Bull likes to share Alexa every so often and that Alexa likes to be shared, they find the right strides in their relationship. One day Bull sends Alexa into town to pick up parts from the auto parts store as well as lumber and has her take Fist with her to town to do the pick up. This day ends up marking the end of an era because Fist gives his life to save Alexa from her father.

Fist is finally able to be with the two great loves of his life, Alexa has one last enemy hunting her down, and a sense of normality and family settles on the club that have accepted Alexa completely in their ranks.

I highly suggest this book and the rest in the series!!

I missed the backstory by not having read the previous books in the series but it still interesting

Bull is the first book in the Reapers MC series by Elizabeth Knox that I have read but not the first book by this author For the most part I have really liked the books I have read by this author, whether she has written them by herself or coauthored, so I was excited to load Bull into the Kindle and open it up. The book description really caught my attention and it looked like it could be really deliciously dark and soooooooo intense. I am going to say right from the start that I did not realize that you really need to start this series from the beginning in order to understand all of the interplay between the characters and an on-going story-line that is pretty intense and intrinsic to this book. This is not a stand-alone read and I am disappointed that the author has chosen not to warn a reader about this. So basically I walked into an on-going story with multiple characters besides the H, Bull and h, Alexa, and all of their individual motivations and back stories. There were things in the story that I really liked and others that I just had to scratch my head about as they seemed to not make sense. But in the end if I just extract the story of Bull and Alexa it is a sort of claiming/love story.

Alexa is an FBI profiler who is really good at it because of her experiences growing up with her father. She has been kidnapped and beaten severely, tortured and maimed by Grizzly and the Bears MC to get information that she does not have. When the Reapers get information on where the Bears MC are they move on them. This is when Bull discovers Alexa and during the process of saving her he also ends up claiming her, whether she likes it or not. Bull and another brother, Blackjack, remain behind the MC to care for Alexa and try to save her which they do. When she is somewhat better Bull initiates a physical claiming of Alexa (which I really did not get after what she had experienced both physically and emotionally) and thus starts their interesting relationship, as it will end up having many facets. But Alexa is still not safe and will need saving again when others come for her once again. Bull is willing to die to save her but it may be another brother's life that will be taken.

Overall this was an interesting story that had a lot of drama, suspense, angst, love, sexy heat and a lot of interesting twists. The story-line was intense and the characters were interesting. I did struggle because I did not have the history by reading the previous books in this series but it was still a book that kept my attention and held it from the beginning to the end.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

One of my favorite things about this series is how absolutely dedicated the men are in these books. Bull was truly amazing in this book. He pulled every Alpha card he could, and completely gave his all when it came to loving Alexa! This book took us down some deep and emotional paths. We don't always get a lot of that in her books, but I loved that about Bull. There has been so much build up with everything going on with the rivals and with Fist, that it was truly needed.

When we first meet Alexa, I knew she was one super tough chick! Honestly, I didn't remember too much about Bull, but I loved how he instantly took to protecting her. She wasn't afraid to have opinions and she took the beating of a lifetime like a champ. I really loved how Alexa and Bull are both kind of "broken", it seemed to really fit their coupling. Alexa has this crazy, intense past, with a crazy and intense introduction to the Reapers. Then we have Bull who has a pretty crazy and intense past himself, and the Reapers saved him. It was really the best kind of karma that Bull  was the one to save Alexa. My favorite part though, was how Alexa didn't want to take crap from anyone. She wasn't just going to bow down because of tradition. Yet, she wanted to have  her cake and eat it too. She had me cracking up with this. Then of course Bull is pretty much a no-nonsense guy, but he knows when to let the lady lead. It was super adorable to see him try and reign it in a little.

Adding in some fun with the brothers, some super sexy play time, and all of the in-between, this book gave me every single thing I wanted! I had the super emotional parts, funny parts, scary parts, it had everything. There was the perfect amount of drama and the roller coaster of emotions that I really love in a book. Bull is definitely by far one of my favorite men, although not sure he can quite replace Blackjack! I can't wait to see what is to come with the MC and the family they've built!

Alexa is in a bad situation shes being tortured just so some sick creap of a biker can find her twisted father. When Bull rescues her he knows she will be his ol lady but Alexa is not pleased about his idea. Bull has lost one woman he wont loose another he dosen't care were she came from or whose still after her she belongs to him. But there is more death coming for the members of this MC not to mention plenty of over the top steam. I only rated this a 4 because it didnt really end anything it was just left up in the air like all the men in Alexas life where is that going if shes with Bull and what about his past with a certain member of the club who seems to want more from him then he ever wanted with them is this going to be explained later on in another book cause trouble with Bull and Alexa it seems like maybe a HEA for now kinda book hopefully the next book will tie up the loose ends for this couple. My only other issue was that because I haven't read this Author before I wasn't expecting the Multiple partners twist because when you read the blurb it doesn't say anything. And I read stuff like that all the time so it's not a problem it was just unexpected. But this book was still a good read it just left allot not explained.

Hold on to your heart, you are about to be taken on one hell of an emotional ride with Bull: Reapers MC Book 7 by Elizabeth Knox. This story was full of action, suspense, drama, violence and plenty of steam as this series just keeps getting better with each book. Bull and the rest of the MC are on a mission to rescue a young woman taken by a rival MC and hopefully take Grizzly down for all of the damage he has done to the club and the Monroe family. When Bull finds a beaten left for dead young women when they stormed the basement your heart will be racing as you witness all Alexa has endured by being tortured and abused. When Bull looked at her and wrapped her in his arms, Bull knew he needed to save and protect her and make her his. The connection, passion and chemistry between Bull and Sage was explosive from the start as they embark on this healing journey. Now these two tortured souls form a relationship that no one will ever be able to destroy. With all of this new found love they have for each other, sorrow surrounds them and the Reapers MC. Will the club ever get back to what they once were? Hearts will break, love will be restored and peace will come for one. This book is a must read, but be warned you will end up crying. Once again Elizabeth's writing will take you on a journey like no other! Can't wait for the next book!

Alexa was a young woman running from her past, with her family being notorious serial killer. As a teenage girl, she turned them in to the FBI, ensuring they were convicted of their crimes. He mother was still in prison, but her father escaped. He did some work with the Bears motorcycle club and their boss Grizzly, but then he disappeared. Grizzly wanted him back and kidnapped Alexa and kept her for months, beating and torturing her in unimaginable ways. Bull with the Reapers found where the Bears were hiding out, with them going after their rivals because of burning their clubhouse and killing the President's brother...finding Alexa. Bull is the enforcer in the Club and decides Alexa needs his protection. They soon become a couple as he claimed her as his 'Ol Lady...but you will need to read this twisting story to see what happens...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

My first story by this author. I thought the description was interesting. I felt the story has potential but I think I’m a little disappointed in the execution. It felt like the story was all over the place and, I’m sorry to say, perhaps not properly researched. Some of the j juries, their affects, treatments and healing were so far off it took away from the story’s credibility. I really wanted to like this story and I’m somewhere between 3.5. I did t read the previous stories, maybe that would have helped but it felt thrown together and not enough care and attention. A beta reader and proofer would help. I like to feel as though I’m in the middle of the story, taken away, but there was so much inner dialogue over things that had little to do with the story it felt like filler. I think the author has potential, as does the story, but it felt quickly thrown together.

Ok, this is the only book from the reaper's mc I've read and I only made it 50%. I don't know back story to it but reading half way I get the jist. The half a book I read was very intense and the treatment of Alexa or Lola was disgusting. I don't have a problem with that for a gritty mc book. It's only 170 pages and the two love interests don't meet till 40% into the book.
Alexa has been tortured for months and in her final days with her kidnappers her eye is removed and she is whipped. This is after months of starvation and beatings.
She is rescued by bull's mc and taken to a crap hotel to get stable before travelling. The huge issue I have is she is acting mentally normal. She had a shit childhood and is a profiler so she's seen some stuff but her first bath in months is treated like a romantic situation...what....her whole body is a bruise she is freshly missing an eye and she is flirting and getting off while Bull is cleaning months of filth off her body. I just can't.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

This is Book 7 of the Reapers MC Series and my first read by this author, and let me just say that I am pleasantly surprised. I quite enjoyed the storyline, the characters, and the author's writing style. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series. It is a suspenseful, gripping MC romance between enforcer Bull and the woman he rescues, Alexa. It is a journey of self-discovery as these two flawed but likeable characters figure out a relationship between them with love and intimacy, along with drama, danger, intrigue, and suspense . Overall, it's an entertaining read with heart, heat, and a happy for now ending. A great addition to the series.

A great dark MC romance read

Alexa, a psychological profiler for the FBI, is rescued by Bull, enforcer for the Reapers MC, and a few others from her time as a captive with the Bears MC. As the story progresses buttons are pushed, walls slowly fall down, and facing reality creates a new set of challenges. Elizabeth Knox’s Bull brings closure to some, but opens up another can of worms needing to be dealt with. The interactions between the two main characters and side interactions with the supporting characters left me wanting to smack a couple of them upside the head. I am definitely going to be waiting by my kindle screen for Cobra to come out. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers.

It’s crazy the journey that Elizabeth Knox takes you on with her books!! Bull is a badass with a heart of gold!! Alexa/Lola is also a bad ass who has over come her past to make an amazing life! And that is why they are perfect for each other! Alexa/ Lola is the type of heroine I absolutely love... she is hard and sweet and will cut you with words but knows when to apologize. She is simply amazing!! The sexy scenes are H-O-T-T hot... holy moly!! Again Elizabeth’s writing is on point with her descriptions and they will knock your socks off!! The ending was again wonderful but Holy Crap did I cry big ugly tears!! I am not gonna ruin it so don’t worry but just make sure you have tissues around!!

This is my first book by this author, and I will be going back to read the previous books in this series. What an amazing story. Not your average MC story with lots of live and hearts. This one will make you cry, I promise. I absolutely loved Bull, he has a heart of gold, but has suffered in his life. Alexa comes from a traumatic past, and as they say, things have to get worse before they can get better. Both characters are strong, but find they need each other just the same. I couldn't put this book down and read it in one sitting. Definitely recommend this one!

“Bull” is well-written, with a plot that is so dark and deep you will not put this book down! This is Bull and Alexa’s story. This tale is a dark and twisted tale of betrayal, lies, and deceit while also being a romance. This action-packed suspense has twists that draw you into the story and keeps you emotionally invested in the outcome. This tale is an emotional thrill-ride with characters that are hard-hitting, strong, well-developed and authentic. The chemistry between Bull and Alexa is electric. Love is healing for both of them and true to life. I loved this tale!
