● When you’re early prepare to educate!
● Open source is effective educational tool -- to a degree.
● Finding a core, consumable value proposition for a complex
technology is not easy.

Hype! Phase Lessons
● Don’t get distracted. Keep building value.
● Developers, developers, developers.
● Open source is about collaborating and building software, not
telling boards “we have a strategy”.

Meh. Phase Prognostications
● Blockchains will be used extensively. No one is going to care.
● User experiences HAVE to improve. Along with developer
experiences.
● Public, permissioned, private. They’ll connect to one another and
it will be a spectrum.
