ADAO Awareness and Prevention Conference Videos
ADAO is excited to present the full video collection of our 13th Annual International Asbestos Awareness and Prevention Conference. Every presentation and event during the 3-day event was live streamed and videotaped so that the education and community fostered at the conference could be shared globally with those who weren’t able to attend the event in person.
This year’s conference, “Where Knowledge and Action Unite,” held April 7 – 9, 2017 in Washington, DC, marked 13 years of ADAO’s leadership in raising asbestos awareness, spearheading advocacy efforts, and fostering our united community. The conference brought together medical, academic, occupational experts, asbestos victims, family and friends of ADAO from around the world to spread awareness about asbestos, clarify recent academic and legislative news, disseminate educational/preventative resources, and work towards a ban on asbestos. This year’s conference featured an inspiring keynote address from legendary investigative journalist David McCumber, as well as powerful presentations from strong international labor leaders from Canada, the U.S., and Australia.
