Six months after three men posing as police officers robbed a family during a violent home invasion, the search continues for two of the men involved.

Last Thanksgiving, La Vergne police said the men kicked in the front door of a home on Tom Hailey Road while the homeowner was inside with her one-year-old child and parents.

“They all had vests on, police vests on, and they all had masks,” the homeowner, who did not want to be identified, told News 2 following the incident.

The homeowner’s father was reportedly pistol-whipped during the robbery.

The men eventually took off with at least $300 and two cell phones, police said.

Detectives identified two of the intruders as Jonathan Omar Echevarria-Fuentes and Jose Domingo Echevarria-Fuentes.

Dash cam video revealed an actual La Vergne officer spotted the getaway car, a Silver Chevrolet Impala, but the driver refused to stop.

Police were involved in a high-speed chase into Davidson County where the suspect vehicle crashed and the Echevarria-Fuentes men took off.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact the La Vergne Police Department at 615-793-7744.
