Poll results: majority of doctors backing us!

I am thrilled to report back the results of our poll — 60% of NSW doctors and 80% of nurses said they back the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill. The majority of them have worked in palliative care, directly with palliative patients. The Sun Herald have even published a story about these results today! This is massive for us — our opponents consistently say that doctors and palliative specialists do not support euthanasia. This is just wrong. For months now doctors, nurses, palliative specialists have privately told me they support a terminally ill patient's right to access voluntary assisted dying. Now, thanks to so many of you who chipped in to fund this independent poll of NSW doctors and nurses — we can show politicians that the medical experts back this Bill. But I really need your help to take this further, and convince politicians to listen.
