Qtalk [Queer talk] is Nigeria’s first social and counseling mobile app for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer [LGBTIQ+] community.
The platform was developed by NoStrings Development Initiatives; a Nigeria-based LGBTIQ+ led human rights organization.
Through the app, LGBTIQ+ persons in Nigeria can have FREE access to psychosocial and legal support provided by certified friendly LGBTIQ+ therapists and legal persons at any time of the day.
The platform also provides a safe space for LGBTIQ+ persons to interact and share their opinions on diverse issues as well as make meaningful friendships.
In addition to this, the platform provides relevant and LGBTIQ+-focused news contents and articles from across Africa through its partner platform RightsAfrica.com; a news platform which provides accurate LGBTIQ+ contents.

I love this app. It has a friendly user interface and all but it still needs Extra features to make it perfect. Like the reply button or the ability to mention someone. Emoji and Gif buttons and most importantly, I hate that I have to scroll from the first message to the most recent. I hope you look into it

Though I commend NoStrings effort in creating this app for LGBTQ Nigerians. It needs massive development and upgrade. The app is not reliable, not robust and lacks exciting features. Why was the app not vigorously tested before being distributed to the public. It's sad!
