The Chemical Brothers have shared a new cover of Tim Buckley’s “I Never Asked to Be Your Mountain,” featuring longtime collaborator Beth Orton. The track was recorded “nearly two decades ago,” according to a tweet from the production duo, and has been unheard until now. Check it out below. Orton and the Chemical Brothers first worked together on the song “Alive Alone,” on Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons’ debut album Exit Planet Dust. They’d come together on Dig Your Own Hole’s “Where Do I Begin” and Come With Us’ “The State We’re In.”
