Saint

My heart on lockdown, my plan set, I wait.

Five years ago, I was set up by the woman I loved. Five years, I’ve spent locked in a cage waiting for the moment to get my revenge. Now, I’m free and ready to take my pound of flesh.

Then one day Rebel steps inside the cell I’m still trapped in and derails everything. She’s fire and fury and—beautiful. All my carefully laid plans—my vengeance—gone somewhere between the moment our eyes meet and the moment she says hello.

Rebel

My trust shattered, my heart broken, I enter.

Five years ago, I was in a wreck that tore my body to pieces. Five years, I’ve inked my skin, hiding the scars that tell the brutal story of a night I barely walked away from.

When I step inside the beautiful cell Saint’s trapped himself in, everything changes. He’s a beast in a cage—predatory, beautiful, and dangerous in a way that makes me want to run.

Truths from the past emerge alongside old enemies. We must question everything—including each other. Can our newfound love survive, or will it crumble beneath the weight of the past and the scars that threaten to break us?

* I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own *

This is the story of Saint, who has been in prison for the last five years after being betrayed by the one woman he loved, now he is out and is out for revenge.
Rebel has been trying to hide the scars of the past by inking her body after a car wreck five years ago nearly tore her body apart. She feels that she can never trust anyone again after having her heart broken.
But when Rebel enters into Saint’s life things start to change for them both and the chemistry and fire that heats up when they are together. But can the past be laid to rest when it is put into question? Can the love and the relationship they have formed survive this.
This was a great story by Lynne Leslie and look forward to the next instalment.

It’s been a few weeks since I picked up a book in this field and I am so pleased that this was the one to break that dry spell because it was just what I needed to relight the fire.
Rebel and Saint were fabulous, I loved getting to know the pair of them but I will say that for as much as I thought they and their story was totally epic, that didn’t mean that my heart didn’t ache for the pair of them on more than one occasion, there were times when I could barely see my screen for the tears traipsing their way down my face…such a sap I know!
Anyway, what about the story I can here you say, well it had it all and a little bit more, it was passionate, packed with characters that oozed chemistry and that from the very start refused to go unheard.
Saint had his agenda, he had done his time, begrudgingly for a crime he didn’t commit, and he was hellbent on getting his revenge, but would he get his opportunity?
Saint was a survivor, a spunk school teacher who had suffered not only a nasty car accident but also years of abuse, she was a strong woman but that didn’t mean that she wasn’t harbouring some pretty nasty physical and emotional scars of her past – could the beautifully tattooed teacher and the sexy as sin ex con tattoo artist find solace with each other or would the past stick its oar in what they could possibly have…a future.
Read in just one sitting, this was one I just didn’t want to part company with…loved it

Saint can't give up the past, he was betrayed by the woman he thought he loved and ended up in prison for 5 years, when he got out Phoenix ignored the town chatter and gave Saint a chance to work at his tattoo studio. Rebel has been to hell and back and is now at the point where maybe she will let a guy in but not just any guy saint has caught her eye, but is definitely isn't going to be all rainbows and unicorns. Saint just can't give up the past, even though his brother is helping he would rather him move on and I totally agree! There are times when you literally want to shack both of them, Saint for being so pig headed and missing what is right in front of him and Rebel for allowing Saint to get away with so much. There are plenty of steamy scenes (some may make you blush ;) ), frustration, heartbreak, laughs and determination that has you turning the pages to see if they can work out who is tormenting them as well as can they make it together or will Saint's hardheadedness ruin it all.

Rebel and Saint are two lost and broken souls who are haunted by their pasts. Fighting their own demons as obstacles are thrown in their path at every turn testing their relationship.

Saint is an ex con seeking revenge for a crime he didn't commit. He can't let go of the past.

Rebel is a teacher who has inked her body covering the scars that she endured from a car accident. The one that caused her fiancee's death and almost cost her her own life.

When Rebel and Saint meet their chemistry is explosive. He is the calm to her storm. She is the light to his darkness. Their trust issues is a stumbling block in their relationship.

Evil lurks in the shadows taunting Rebel and Saint. Is this someone from Saint's past? Or Rebel's past?

Saint is an emotional and intense story that will have your heart bouncing all over the place as you hungrily flip through the pages craving more. Mystery, suspense, drama and romance.

The last few chapters ripped my heart out.

I highly recommend the Skullz Ink Series!!

I can't wait for the next installment, Allie and Fox's duet!!!

Yes I will admit it, I may have had to fight throwing my kindle against something hard while reading this. I honestly got so caught up in the story that I just wanted to choke Saint . . . multiple times. Uggh this is such an emotional read and has plenty of intrigue and oh crap and no no no no no moments in time. This author just made me bonkers reading this story, in the best of ways mind you. Saint after 5 years of prison for a crime he didn't commit locks himself away in a prison of his past, revenge the only thing on his mind. The blind fool just can't see what's right in front of his eyes. Rebel, bless her heart has a past that she is trying to move past, but when she meets Saint, even knowing he will break her, her heart wont listen. There are so many twist and turns in this book you can tell the author is really feeling her characters. When things start happening, stalker style, and the past becomes their present danger, the problem isn't if they in danger, it's where is the danger coming from his past or hers. Awesome read, well played and completely and thoroughly enjoyed.

HEALING SAINT
by Lynne Leslie
4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I won an an arc on ig and here is my review. Healing Saint is my fave so far in the Skullz Ink Series. The chemistry between Rebel and Saint is off the charts. I could feel their connection both physical and emotional. I really enjoyed every part of the book. The intensity, the heartbreak, angst, the love and oh the sex scenes. It was hot. Healing Saint kept me in all sorts of feels. I felt so much for both the h/H. Both with troubled past, Rebel fell hard instantly and Saint was fighting all his feelings which made me angry. There was the right amount of action which I enjoyed as it kept you wondering who was out to sabotage them.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to see if some of the secondary characters get their stories told. I look forward to more from Lynne Leslie.

Riveting! I read this in one sitting on the edge of my seat … I could not stop until the end. This book has everything and will take you on a ride that is full of angst, excitement, violence, humour, and witty banter. The characters are strong and loveable; the chemistry between them is instant, potent and intense. Saint and Rebel go through a number of ups and downs, highs and lows in this amazing well written, well-developed book. It is emotionally deep and the twists and turns the author provided adds more intrigue and excitement to the plot. This is a must read and I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Wow what a jaw dropping installment to the Skullz Ink series. Healing Saint had everything a story should have to keep you enthralled from beginning to end it had a good strong story line and amazing characters it's a story full of sadness, aghast, love and some very hot scenes.

Saint and Rebel were made for each other, two broken souls with pasts that could destroy them if they let it but together they have the power to heal each other if only they would relent and let each other in before it's to late.

A fantastic 5 star read for me. Each book can be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend reading them in order as you won't want to miss a single thing in the lives of the Skullz Ink family.

This is one of those books that draws you in from the first page and doesn't let you go until you turn that last page They were both so damaged but made one another whole

Saint is bent on revenge he served five years for a crime he didn't commit and he is determined that they will pay. Rebel barely survived a car accident five years ago and she has covered her scars with tattoos They will heal one another but first they must both face their pasts and in the process find a future There will be plenty of drama and suspense before the y both learn to move forward. This is the third book in this wonderful series I have loved all of them and would recommend that you read them even though they are all stand alones

This book from page from because it immediately draws you in and these characters are unforgettable! The story of Saint and Rebel is a intense ride and at times heartbreaking. Rebel, I admire her strength during very difficult past. And Saint, he has a past that still haunts him. These two have a strong physical connection but their hearts are hiding painful pasts. Their story will make you swoon, get hot but also, get angry and frustrated. I greatly enjoyed this story and constantly rooted for them. The ending was beautiful and perfect and worth the tears! Never a dull moment in this book. I cannot wait for my from Lynne Leslie!

Rebel is the feminine character with which I have been able to connect the most in this series. Her heart is so big that she will do anything to make Saint leave behind his stormy past and dare to open his heart to her. But the path isn’t easy, believe me. Saint throws you off at the slightest opportunity, first cold then hot, now yes now no, a constant push and pull that makes you want to scream, are you kidding? But when both characters are well, it is beautiful to see how their love blossoms.

Rebel tattooed school teacher, survivor of abuse and bad car wreck.
Saint tattoo artist, ex con (5 years for a crime he did not commit), wanting revenge.
Can these two heal each other and find a better life and love than they had in the past?
Join their adventure as they deal with crazy, ex's, violence, and the family and friends that love them. Read this in one sitting as I could not put it down.

This story grabs you right from the beginning and keeps you hooked until the end. I felt bad for Saint and Rebel because of all the misery each went through in their pasts. I had my doubts that they would get their HEA. I loved the mystery and suspense along with the hot sex. I can’t wait for the next books in the series. I’d like to read Allie and Fox’s story and Jake and Raven’s story.

Rebal and Saints story catches you at the very first page and doesn't let go till the end. You go on a roller coaster of emotions. Sometimes you just want to smack them both then turn around and hug them. It takes a lot of ups and down for people to learn to trust and love again.

This is my favorite book of the series so far. My heart broke for Rebel and Saint. She was a victim of abuse and then a major car wreck. Saint went to prison for 5 years for a crime he didn’t even commit. He’s a tattoo artist whilst she is a tattooed school teacher. I just wanted to give them each a hug and at times smack them both. Can these two souls heal each other and let themselves experience love. I highly recommend this book! Can’t wait for the next installment of this series.
