Opis pracy

Responsibilities:
System component development from the analysis phase through implementation up to deployment to production
Investigate and implement code fixes and improvements to Egnyte’s file sharing and cloud system
Perform root-cause analysis of complex problems that may involve third-party software, network configurations, and software relating to scaling and performance.
Work closely with Support and Operations teams to troubleshoot customer issues and propose/implement short-term mitigation as needed
Design and implement tools to better diagnose problems
Collaborate with developers, product owners and system QA in bringing out minor releases and patch releases in a SaaS delivery model

Requirements:
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills along with the passion to continuously refine the product
Ability to work with multicultural, globally distributed teams and closely coordinate with cross-functional teams in a different time- zones.
Solid programming skill, with Java as preferable
Problem-solving mindset

Nice to have:
Broad systems knowledge including operating systems, infrastructure architecture and networking
End-to-end experience in development and troubleshooting of large-scale enterprise and cloud data solutions
Performance tuning and optimization experience
System analytics tools like Grafana, New Relic, Kibana
Other programming languages like Python, C#, Go, etc.
