Tell John P. DiGiovanni to give EMF artists adequate time before eviction

Tell John P. DiGiovanni to please allow the tenants at 110-120 Brookline St. 5 months to arrange suitable locations for our displaced businesses and artists. A mere 30 days to re-home over 100 artists and businesses is just not adequate.

Why is this important?

Cambridge has recently lost two vital music spaces in Central Square, this includes Out of the Blue Art Gallery and Mobius. Adding the EMF building to this list would be deeply troubling to the community.

Tell John P. DiGiovanni to please allow the tenants at 110-120 Brookline St. 5 months to arrange suitable locations for our displaced businesses and artists. There are insufficient vacant rehearsal spaces in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. A mere 30 days to re-home over 100 artists and businesses is just not adequate.

There are multiple recording studios in the building that have invested significant funds in infrastructure over the years. These establishments will be hemorrhaging money if they are forced to close their doors prematurely.

We hope you can appreciate the difficulties of running a small business, particularly one in the music industry.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned EMF Community
