All Austin Public Library locations will be closed on Thursday, July 4.
Artist Michael Albert (American flag, left) will be at Branch libraries this week with a pop art collage workshop for tweens ages 9 to 12: July 3 at Carver, July 5 at Ruiz, and July 6 at Twin Oaks.

Dinosaurs by day & night, July 12 & 13
The Central Library Special Event Center will transform into a dinosaur museum for two events this month. On Friday, July 12, APL After Dark presented by The Library Foundation will host an adult after hours event at 7 PM, and tickets are available for $7.
On Saturday, July 13, the exhibit will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM, and is free and open to the public with no tickets necessary.
