Strengthening Community Cafes - GCFN Conference

Join Glasgw Community Food Network for our Autumn get-together! this time held in collaboration with SENSCOT and Glasgow Social Enterprise Network.

This event will focus on developing stronger links between community cafes. This includes:
- Social enterprises run for the benefit of the community
- Cafes in community centres
- Cafes and kitchens providing good nutritous food to people in need
- Cafes interested in public procurement tenders
- Weekly community meals - free, pay what you can, bartering...
- Occassional monthly or random community meals, that provide good food and a place to connect

Hear from great speakers Chris from Well-Fed - Catering Social Enterprise at Whiteinch centre (A new self-sufficient catering kitchen and procurement project), Rachel at Kinning Park Complex (Community meals and eexpanding projects) and Zahra CEIS (Just Enterprise programme- support)

There will be afternoon workshops to choose from so signup on eventbrite so we can judge the numbers thanks:

- Tracey at Volunteer Glasgow (Volunteer development and support)
