Suspects Force Victim to Withdraw Funds from His Bank

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Thursday, July 16, 2020 at around 11:00 am, the complainant was walking out of the Walgreens, located at 10997 Fuqua, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he was approached by an unknown male (wearing brown button-up dress shirt), who told him that he was new in town and had taken a taxi from the Greyhound station and the taxi driver had swindled him out of $200 and he was now stranded.

The complainant stated that the male appeared to be credible so he agreed to help him out and give him a ride. During the ride, the male stated that he had to use a restroom, so they pulled into a gas station at 9612 Rowlett (surveillance images captured from within the store of the suspects). As the complainant waited in his vehicle, the male went inside the store and exited with another unknown male. Both males then approached the complainant in the parking lot and the second male (wearing a white shirt with tie) pointed a handgun at him as both males entered the vehicle.

The male with the gun then asked the complainant how much money he had in his bank account and then demanded that they drive to the bank in order to withdraw the money. The complainant along with the suspects then drove to a bank at 11391 Monroe and completed the withdraw in the drive thru lane (captured on surveillance).

Once the suspects had the money, they then had the complainant drive to a Whataburger at 11510 Pearland Parkway and made him park in the parking lot. The suspect told the complainant to remain in the parking lot and if he came after them, he would kill him. Both suspects then casually exited the vehicle, walked around the building, and then disappeared in an unknown direction. The complainant stated that he believed that the suspects had a get-away vehicle nearby or had someone waiting on them. Houston PD #935403-20
