Investigative Skills Trainer - Detective Constables

An opportunity has arisen for 2 substantive Detective Constables to join the Investigative Skills Training team within Learning and Development.

This will be a permanent role to deliver a variety of Investigative courses including ICIDP, SCAIDP, SSAIDP, Serious and Complex and provide the investigative training requirements for both PCDA and DHEP students in West Mercia.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of training to new recruits and detectives with other experienced staff at the Hindlip training site. This will assist Learning and Development deliver new detective officers to the frontline together with upskilling those in specialist roles.

Demonstrable understanding of criminal law and proven experience in applying legal processes and carrying out investigative interviews in a legal / policing environment.
