Superstar Rajinikanth, who is known for his philanthropy, has once again done a good deed by helping out a few families who were affected by the cyclones in Nagapattinam. Thalaivar helped 10 families in the Nagapattinam district by offering them new houses. These families have been gravely affected by the cyclones in the district, and hence, the actor decided to go ahead and purchase houses for them.

For the uninitiated, the actor recently took a trip to the Himalayas for a spiritual journey with his daughter, Aishwarya Dhanush. Rajinikanth took this trip right after wrapping up the filming of AR Murugadoss' Darbar. And it seems like as the actor returned from his trip, he chose to take up a philanthropic act, as reported by a Tamil publication. Rajinikanth giving away houses to cyclone-stricken families is certainly a commendable gesture that none could have anticipated. On a professional note, we will soon see Rajinikanth as a cop in AR Murugadoss' Darbar. The film stars an ensemble cast of talented actors such as Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Yogi Babu and Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh. Details about the characters have not been revealed by the filmmaker or even the superstar. But it seems like the cop drama is going to be intriguing. Considering how it is an AR Murugadoss film, which stars two superstars of South cinema, the film will attract a lot of love and attention from fans.
