Love changes people.
I’m the first to admit that I, Keaton Bridges, used to be an immature, entitled ass.
Okay, maybe I’m the second to admit it—after Roxy Carter.
That loudmouth.
But I’ve seen what true love has done for my friends, and I want it for myself.

Somehow, I’m the only single guy left.
Somehow, she’s the only single girl.
The only time Foxy Roxy hasn’t been a loudmouth?
That time we were making out at our best friends’ wedding.
And every time we’ve seen each other in the five years since then,
because she refuses to talk about it.

Well, she’s going to have to talk to me now.
It’s the dead of winter, and our six best friends were planning a getaway
at a Caribbean couples-only resort.
One of the couples had to drop out, and I refuse to be left out in the cold.
All Roxy and I have to do is pretend to be in love for one week so we can
spend some much-needed time with our favorite people.
And all I have to do is pretend I’m not dying to kiss her again.

Amazon Top 25 and USA Today bestselling author Kayley Loring spent many years as a screenwriter (under a different name) in Los Angeles before moving to the Pacific Northwest to live out her childhood dream of being a Disney heroine who talks and sings to woodland creatures. When not trying to keep animals alive, she’s writing steamy romantic comedy novels, obviously. She’s breathing cleaner air, writing dirtier words, and staring at her computer screen until her eyeballs dry out instead of prancing around Southern California in miniskirts and going to the hair salon. Still waiting for the woodland creatures to clean her house, though.
Read or listen to Kayley’s books when you want to laugh, warm your heart, and enjoy top-notch banter, strong heroines who need to be chased, lovable characters you’d want to know in real life, and swoon over perfectly imperfect book boyfriends.

*Read as part of The Brooklyn Boyfriends collection*

"One plus one equals infinity."
I take back everything I said about Keaton after I finished Tonight You're Mine, the previous book in this series. He proved me wrong, and I think I like him even more because of it.

"Not kissing this man is no longer an option. I kiss him until I’ve taken his breath away and then given it back to him."
Keaton... Look, the first thing I can say about him is that he genuinely cares about everyone and everything. About his friends, his godson, his dog (even though it's not reciprocated), and about Roxy. I wasn't even surprised to see how much he knew about her, because he watches and he pays attention. And he goes after what he wants, without being pushy and by just being kind and present. And, OK, hot. Even without wearing socks.

"'That thing for me now is Roxy. It’s her body and everything I saw and felt and heard last night and what I didn’t get to see and do or say. It’s who she is deep down when she isn’t being the Roxy Carter she presents to the world.'"
I feel like I'm part Roxy Carter. It's not only about her being a Bruce Springsteen fan, either. She's just so much more than what she shows everyone. Of course she's feisty and a badass. Of course she knows what she wants, and how she wants it, and she's not taking shit from anyone. But there's a side of her that needs to be brought out, and a couple of walls that need knocking down. And she has definitely found her match.

"'What we have is friction. Oil and water just glide right past each other.”
He clenches his jaw for a second before continuing. “I’m more like a match that’s striking against your rough surface. Creating sparks. Producing a flame. Lighting you up.'"

Keaton and Roxy feel left out because all their friends are getting married and having babies. And at one of those weddings, when they're feeling especially vulnerable, they kiss. It's not the peck on the lips variety, it's a full-on-steamy kiss that leaves them both wanting more. And wondering, whether they admit to it or not.

But instead of exploring what might have been, they avoid each other. It's the sensible thing to do, right? Five years go by and life goes on. The chemistry never goes away, though, and when they go on holidays together with their friends, and need to pretend to be a couple, suddenly pretending is the furthest thing from their minds.

"His hands find mine and he laces our fingers together, and it’s beautiful. So much for quick and dirty."
The chemistry between these two is sizzling hot, and everyone can feel it. It's a sexual thing, of course, but it's more than that. It's there in the way they interact with each other, and how they get to know one another. The discovery of who they are together.

"I’m your plus one, Roxy Carter. I’m your emergency contact. I’m your everything. And one of these days, I’m going to be your husband and the father of your child or children. So get used to it."
There's no angst in this book. It's a sweet, steamy read that, even if you're having a bad day, will leave you feeling like life maybe isn't that bad, you know? Maybe there's a Keaton (or a Roxy) out there, someone you can connect to on every level, someone who just fits your life in every way, someone who's destined to be your plus one, even if you try to push them away.

I think the word saudade kind of covers how I feel about this book and this series. I will miss all of them, but I'm also happy I got to experience their stories, and that they'll forever be a part of me.
Yep, feeling sappy here. And a tiny bit emotional too.
I totally blame the epilogues for this! And Kayley Loring.

Cute

This was a cute frenemies pretending to be a couple read. Of course it leads to them becoming more. This was a sweet and easy read. There are steamy bits in this one. It’s a good read, but nothing really NEW if you’re someone who reads romance often. None the less a good read though.

When i read the review of this book, there is a lot of shout out to Keaton. While i was listening to the audiobook, i can understand why. Yes i am joining the Keaton fan club. Plus i also want to go to Antiqua with Keaton.

I love this book. It managed to bring a big grin on ny face. It's cure me of my workday blues. I admire how the author can create such dynamic characters with their hilarious banter. Keaton is the MAN! Roxy is perfect for him to complete him.

This book is more focusing on character development with fun and sarcastic banter. The character chemistry is off the chart. The story is pretty simple though. I have to admire Keaton persistence to win Roxy.

This is a wonderful book. Sweet and funny.

This was fun, sexy audio book experience for me. I listened to this doing household chores and it made the time pass by so quickly, making it way more enjoyable than it usually is.

Keaton and Roxy are sworn enemies. They have mutual friends but can’t even bear to be in the same room as each other most of the time. Their friends say they are like oil and water but Keaton knows differently. To him they are a match and flint, too scared to get close to each other because they know it will ignite them.

Five years ago, at their best friends wedding, they shared a moment and ever since then Keaton has been on Roxy’s shit list, she completely loathes him and makes sure they rarely share the same space at all mutual social engagements.

When they both learn that their married/coupled besties are going away on a romantic couples retreat to Antigua they are bummed to be missing out on all the fun. However, when one of the couples has to cancel, Keaton somehow convinces Roxy to be his pretend girlfriend just so they can go and join in on all the fun with their friends. I think they are both surprised when she agrees to play along.

Sharing a room with one bed is their first issue, the second is that their friends seem to have morphed into sex addicts and spending lots of time on their own and lastly, the ridiculous simmering attraction between Keaton and Roxy. It’s always been there but Roxy just didn’t want to admit it.

And then Keaton’s match strikes against Roxy’s flint and it is all on! These two are explosive together and more importantly they are both into this sexy holiday fling. When the time to fly home is up they realise that they don’t want it to end. Will this plus ones finally become part of the couples team or will Roxy revert back to the way things were before?

This was a fun, easy read romance, very little angst, plenty of heat and lots of laugh out loud moments.

I’m sorry to give this one of the lowest ratings I’ve given to a Loring book. And I love almost everything she has written!

This is an enemies to lovers trope featuring best friends of the characters in Tonight You’re Mine, which is also a book I didn’t like very much ( in that case I disliked the heroine, Aimee). Roxy and Keaton make out at their best friends’ wedding and vow never to speak of it again. She avoids him as much as possible and he wonders why she is avoiding him. Five years later they get stuck on a group vacation together after another couple drops out. This leads to them realizing how much they have in common and why they’re good together.

So why did I dislike it? The only good thing about it is Keaton! He’s smart, capable, vulnerable and kind. Roxy is annoyingly belligerent. All the friends who had their own past books, are annoying- either threatening Keaton not to break Roxy’s heart or else or telling them to bang each other! It’s bizarre. So you have annoying friends, annoying heroine, nice hero with some lovely love scenes and a nicely low-angst plot. 5 stars to Keaton and two for everyone else. I came down to three overall.

4 fun and feisty stars!

This is the final book in the Brooklyn Book Boyfriends series, and it’s a wonderful finish as Keaton and Roxy’s fiery love story rounds out what has been a fantastic collection of fun, sexy and funny romances that have captured my heart.

Keaton and Roxy were introduced in the last book of the series as the respective best friends of Chase and Aimee. I wasn’t too sure what to make of Chase in that book, so I was excited to get to know him better in this one, and loved that we immediately got to see a different side to him – one where he is starting to feel lonely for the kind of love that his friends have found, and is ready to say goodbye to his playboy bachelor life, and find somebody to share his life with.

Roxy is feeling the same, and the two of them share a moment at Chase and Aimee’s wedding, and end up sharing a very hot make-out session. But Roxy is wary of Chase and his reputation, so she runs, and spends the next few years doing her best to avoid him despite sharing friends, and a godson with him.

Then their friends arrange a getaway at a couples-only resort in the Caribbean. As the only singles in the group they are both so disappointed to be missing out on time with the people they love the most, but when one of the couples drops out, Keaton jumps at the chance to take their spot, and he manages to convince Roxy to go along as his fake girlfriend. And so, the scene is set for fun times ahead!

I love a fake romance story, and when you’ve already got chemistry sizzling between the couple, like you do in this case, it’s even better. Keaton and Roxy are clearly attracted to each other, and Keaton has decided that this is the perfect opportunity to finally win Roxy over and explore their wild sexual attraction for real. So we get treated to scenes of teasing, inuendo, flirtatious winks and grins and almost moments that had me desperate for more. And when Roxy finally gives in to him…. wow. These two are so freaking hot together, and more than that, they are just so right for each other. We see it in every interaction as they talk, flirt and banter, and their teasing is so much fun. I loved watching them grow closer and finally start to explore everything that is between them, and I fell hard right alongside them.

Keaton is a fantastic hero. He perseveres through Roxy’s bitchiness when she keeps trying to push him away, and his lighthearted playfulness is so much fun as he works to win her over. And amidst all of the fun, you can feel the depth of their connection, and the emotion between them is really beautifully written.

His hands find mine and he laces our fingers together, and it’s beautiful. So much for quick and dirty.

Adding to the fun, we get to spend lots of time with the previous couples of the series. I loved getting to catch up with them, seeing where they are all at, and the group text messages were a riot! I love their group dynamic, and the way they had “Roxton’s” back through everything, and it was such a joy to see them all happy and up in each other’s lives.

I loved this book. It was so much fun, it made me laugh, and the romance left me grinning and swooning.

4 stars!

So many stars. I honestly could not get enough of this book, everything about it I loved. And it was so funny, like laugh out loud hilarious. Basically the entire book is highlighted with notes like snorts, lmao, lmfao, hilarious, so damn funny. From the way they interact with each other, to Keaton’s dog, to their group of friends, to the couples trip, to the couples games on the trip, to the text in the group chat....everything seriously was so funny. Laughed so hard....and loudly. This is my new favorite Kayley Loring book, she killed it with this one for sure. I should send her a virtual fruit basket for letting me read it. It was that amazing for me. So, so good.

This is Keaton and Roxy aka Foxy Roxy’s book, they have a brief and sweet kiss together five years previous. Roxy is a bit of a runner, but eventually she gets caught. Fast forward and they are pretending to be a couple at a couples resort so they can hang out with their married best friends.

This was a safe for me read, neither were with others after they start dating. I loved, loved Keaton f*cking Bridges, her name for him 😂, absolutely adore that guy. Everything about him I loved, he’s gonna be topping a lot of fans Book Boyfriend list, just remember that I called dibs first...#ProudToBeAHeroHoarder. She does some evading for years, but he finally catches her. And he ends up being a pro at handling Roxy, and trust me she is a handful. Their chemistry was scorching, add their humorous interactions with each other, and it made for an addicting book. Once these two get together, it is swoon worthy for sure, they don’t waste time, and I loved it. Baby batter, a great epilogue and hea.

I like the friends to lovers trope. Gotta love a bit of that action. Throw in a fake relationship (that you know is going to turn real) and I am all in.

This was my first Kayley Loring story, so even though I wasn't all up to date with the other couples in this series, I enjoyed it.

I absolutely loved Keaton. He was kind and caring and has all the feels.

Roxy on the other hand I just couldn't with. She is a 35 year old woman, yet she acted out like a belligerent 13 year old throwing a tantrum for most of the book - she did get better in the last 20% of the book though. She finally grew up!

It was fun seeing the two "third wheels" become a real couple though, especially when putting on the act in front of strangers.

I enjoyed the push/pull between our lovelies - I just wish that Roxy wasn't such a cow to Keaton.

I did like the narrations. Teddy Hamilton is one of my favourite male narrators out there. He brought Keaton to life. I don't think I have listened to Mackenzie Cartwright before, she does have a lovely voice for story telling.

I would look out for more of this series in the future.

I have read and enjoyed other books by Kayley Loring, including Come Back to Bed, and was looking forward to reading The Plus Ones, about a man and a woman who pretend to be together in order to participate in an exclusive couples-only vacation with their friends.

Keaton Bridges was our hero, in his 30s, smart and successful, and looking for a relationship. Not a player, he’s had his heart broken a time or two and didn’t really have a loving relationship with his own parents which I can relate to sadly. I LOVED Keaton. In previous books he came off a bit cocky, but he was younger then and definitely grew up to be quite a catch. I would be dating, marrying, and loving on him in a hot second.

What I did not like about this book is with Roxy and how our heroine behaved. She and Keaton have known each other for years and share the same core group of friends. They are godparents to the same child, and are the last of their friends to be married. She was just so mean to him! I get that this was supposed to be an enemies-to-lovers, be my fake date theme, but I found her belligerent, rude and immature. She was 35!

They kissed once five years prior at a friend’s wedding and both felt something, but instead of exploring it, she played games by not attending events while he was there, etc. and when she did see him she would tell him she would never be with him. She was so back and forth until about the middle of the book when they were on vacation; from that point on I did like the book. I liked how Roxy wanted to get to know him, their island adventures, and all of their interactions with their friends who were featured in previous books.

Another thing that bugged me is the friends who would warn him not to touch or hurt her. Really? They are again mid-thirties and can make their own decisions.

The author does a great job with character development as Roxy grew out of her bitchiness, but I felt he deserved better. I just loved Keaton and how committed he was to making it work. How romantic, thoughtful, and patient he was. How witty they both were.

I did like the push and pull and all of their banter, I just wished she had a reason for her hesitation as to why she wouldn’t have wanted to try with this great man for so many years. I especially loved the epilogue which shows a peak into their future.

As a reader, I really enjoyed all of the new words and terms I learned (which was a hobby of Keaton's as a linguist), while reading The Plus Ones.

The Plus Ones is a standalone. However, it is based in the Brooklyn world where three of Loring’s other books Come Back to Bed, Rebound with Me and Tonight You’re Mine are based, and those characters are also in this one. Those three couples: Matt and Bernie, Vince and Nina, and Aimee and Chase all plan a couple’s trip to a couple’s resort in Antigua. But, when Nina and Vince have to drop out, Roxy and Keaton take their places. They are not a couple, so it’s a fake relationship trope, but also enemies to lovers because they don’t like each other very much and these two do share some brief history as well. Their banter was so deliciously good! The one liners were hilarious! They were great characters, someone you want to be friends with; and them together was even better! This is a very quick read, with things moving maybe a little too fast for me. But, the epilogue was so satisfying and perfect finale to all of these books. This is another solid read from an always consistent author.

* I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love this story about mouthy Roxy and sweet Keaton, they are so different but matches perfectly.

No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good and so fun dialogues, Wetpantiesface 😂
Some secondary characters I’ve already read but the others I would love to read about too.
Talk about slow burning love story..........that finally ends in all the happiness we all want to have.

This is a standalone but part of a series.

Narrators:
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings and passionate without going to fare. A really good listen that made me forget about everything.

I recommend it very much.

There's nothing quite like that giddy feeling of satisfaction when the book that you just knew would be good, ends up being GOOD.

Keaton and Roxy's story was by far my favourite from this series! In series like this one, centered around a group of friends, there's always this one couple that you just can't wait to see get together, because...YOU KNOW. You just know their chemistry will set you aflame and their banter will keep you smiling til the wee hours of the morning (and awake til 6am when you also KNOW you have to start work at 7 and so you only have an hour to get some sleep or...rethink your life decisions?).

Well, Roxy and Keaton were this story. The last ones on the single market in their closest group of friends that become the plus ones so that they can take part in romantic getaway friendcation (friendvacay? friendvacation?) on a tropical island.

At the beginning I might've wished that fake dating trope was accentuated more in this story but in the end, it worked out really well. Sense of certain kinship between Keaton and Roxy was unparalleled, and it was only underlined more by how different they seemed at first glimpse. And the way it was clear that Keaton had actually been paying attention for years and filing all the Roxy facts in his brain!

There was...a charm to this story, in a way. From Keaton weaving beautiful untranslatable words into the story to this feeling of mute longing between the two of them. Longing for something not quite tangible and something they don't quite know how to ask for, how to reach for.

Or, you know - this was also a cute, banter-filled smutty story with a side of fake-dating spice and two really Lit™ characters. One which I totally recommend to everyone who loves romance stories that take place within a group of friends and to anyone who likes to have a fun reading experience.

Smart and sassy takes on humorously, heartwarming. Loring digs deep into the insecurities of life, love and happily ever after with a fresh, comedic voice. The Plus Ones will have hearts cheering, lips smiling and senses on overload. Hamilton and Cartwright tickle the eardrums with an amazing delivery of what women what and why men tend to be a bit clueless. Keaton and Roxy take high maintenance to the next level of irritating with adorable results. Love means war and everybody wins in the most delightful way.

Not a bad book, but very uneventful. My biggest dislike was the heroine, which brought my rating way down. This book wasn't really enemies to lovers; Keaton was never mean to Roxy. She, OTOH, was a total bitch for no reason. I didn't realize this was part of series, but it became apparent after a few pages. I got tired of being reminded how beautiful the characters were and how they had the perfect marriages. I'm kind of sick of the cookie cutter perfect relationships. Anyway.. Keaton was a great character and I really didn't understand why he liked Roxy, other than physical attraction. The story also just fell a little flat for me.

‘I look out the window and continue to think about Oiled-up Shower Roxy because I have completely lost control of my fucking brain and she just smalls like she wants to be naked. That cocoa butter is sexually assaulting my olfactory system. I can feel her watching me and smirking. I am quite certain that she knows I’m having sex thoughts and that it amuses her. She is the worst fake girlfriend ever, and I just want to stick my head under her shirt for five minutes and then I’m done. It’s out of my system.

She’s not even my type.

I mean - Roxy Carter is every man’s type.

But she’s not my type.’

Kayley Loring can do no wrong. That’s my new life mantra. Actually, it’s what I think every time I pick up one of her books. She’s a brilliant writer and sharper than a sharp thing from Sharpsville.

The Plus Ones is hilariously funny (I lost count of the bits I highlighted), hotter than the surface of the sun, and utterly unputdownable. It’s enemies-to-lovers, fake-dating, romcom perfection and you need to drop whatever you are doing RIGHT NOW and go and read it. You won’t be disappointed and will probably write me a thank you note for the recommendation. You’re welcome!

The first half of this book was not the best, Roxy was a massive bitch to Keaton for most of it. But when she finally let go of the attitude and saw how AMAZING Keaton was, it got so much better. I loved the epilogue and catching up with the whole gang and I’m so sad this series is over. I laughed and I sighed through it all, I’m so glad I read these.

This was a cute rom-com. It gave me Christina Lauren vibes and Unhoneymooners, but different and fun in it's own way. Meet Keaton, a sweet guy with a lot of money and failed relationships. Then meet Roxy...aka Foxy Roxy, she is independent and won't let anyone tell her what to do or feel. They are both friends with a group of six others, they are the only singles. The couples are taking a group trip to a couples resort and they are going to be left behind...until one couple can go. Keaton snags up their spot and invites Roxy to be his pretend plus one for the resort. You will have to read it to go from there, but it will definitely give you some giggles along the way.

As Keaton has watched his friends find love, get married and begin having kids he begins to realize how much he wants that for himself. He thought that was where his last relationship was heading until she left town and him behind. He hasn’t forgotten the one kiss he shared with Roxy five years ago but even since then things between them have been awkward.

Roxy has two serious relationships in her past and both were ultimate failures. Since then she has kept her relationships short and casual but she wants love and marriage and realizes that is not the way to go about it.

When they end up pretending to be a couple so that they can go on vacation with their married friends things are about to become complicated. They are like oil and water but when they find themselves sharing the same room Keaton is determined to show her that the sparks of antagonism they feel for each other is masking sparks of a different kind and the result is explosive.

Hot chemistry and sarcastic banter prevail in this enemies to lovers story and the great cast of secondary enhance the story. I received a complimentary copy of the audio book and thought the narrators were perfect at bringing the emotion and humor of the story to life.

The Plus Ones is the latest novel by Kayley Loring and another fantastic page-turner. I've loved every book I've read from this author and this novel was no exception. The Plus Ones is a romantic comedy that's sure to make you laugh out loud. It included both enemies to lovers and fake relationship trope and I was hooked from beginning to end. The novel was hilarious, steamy and sweet. I absolutely loved Keaton, Roxy on the other have took some getting used to as I really disliked her attitude in the beginning, however that did not stop me from fully enjoying this story. The appearance of the other couples from the previous books was an added bonus and I loved catching up with them. This novel was a fantastic read and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of romantic comedies.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright. These two have easily become two of my favorite narrators and they were absolutely perfect for the role. They did a fantastic job with the narration, their pace and timing was excellent and they infused the right amount of emotion into the story. It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

Two words. KEATON BRIDGES. I have secretly been crushing on Keaton since the character was first introduced in Tonight You’re Mine. Needless to say I was super excited when I heard that his was getting his own book and Roxy! Plus, more of Chase, Aimee, Matt, Bernie and new to me characters, Vince and Nina.

I found myself laughing out loud while reading a majority of this book. I LOVED the banter between Roxy and Keaton and really the interactions between the group as a whole. This is one group of friends I would love to go on vacation with to the Caribbean. No matter what is going on it would be a blast.

Not only do Keaton and Roxy KILL it with the banter but their chemistry is fantastic from the very beginning, even though they “hate” each other and really try to spend time avoiding each other at events. I probably could talk my love for Keaton and Roxy and their relationship forever.

This book is steamy, it is funny, it makes you want to hop on a plane and start a Caribbean vacation. Whether you’re new to Kayley’s books or you’ve read all of them The Plus Ones is a MUST READ and PURE GOLD. #ROXTON4EVA

Keaton and Roxie have friends in common. These two love their friends sooooooo hard, you wish you could have friends like this group. They love each other so much, have so much fun that they don't want to miss out on this couples trip, even though they're single.

Keaton was perfect. I loved his character. I loved his POV, his feelings, his love for his friends, family, friends kids, and slow unsure feelings about Roxie. These two have such chemistry, but Roxie fights it alot. This book was very entertaining but Roxie, sometimes made me want to pull my hair out. She's so hot/cold to Keaton and it became annoying. But she did get her head in the right place eventually. I did enjoy this story, I liked seeing the characters from the other books in here. Love seeing all the special friendships they have with each other.

I don't know what it is but guys that are reformed but still have some of their cocky self in them are like my freaking kryptonite. Add in awesome guys that are also humorous and freaking sweet, yup, I am a huge fan!! The leading lady was pretty awesome as well, I adored her confidence and go getting self! What a great concept with a dash of destination wedding- I am freaking hooked!

All in all, this was a fun story to read with awesome characters and a great story line that kept me entertained. I am definitely wanting to read more of Loring now!

PS: I received an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly, I appreciate the opportunity to do so!

Keaton and Roxy are friends of the couple in the previous book. They end up making out at a wedding, then agree to never talk about it again. Later their friends are all part of a couple and are taking a couples trip. Keaton doesn't want to be the only single guy. He comes up with the idea that he and Roxy should be a pretend couple for the trip. Problem is they can't stop making out or keep their hands off each other. Love may really be in the cards for this couple. The banter between them was funny. Roxy got on my nerves sometimes but she was a good match for Keaton. A sweet, sexy romantic read.

Cute, light story by a new author for me. A couple in the making that are close friends with 3 other couples. (Yes, all these couples have a book and this is the last book in the series. I'm just starting late in the game.) The starring duo antagonize each other for the first half of the book. I'l be honest, this does get a little tiresome. But the group friends banter with each other is entertaining enough to distract from our couples bickering. The last half is the slow developing romance that happens when the friends all take a romantic trip to Antigua.

Upbeat and fun, it was an enjoyable read. I'm curious enough to want to read the other couples books in this series.

I loved the idea of this.

The beginning was pretty good. But after a while at the resort, it all became pretty repetitive.

But, then the ending felt so rushed. I would have liked a little less time at the resort and more at home. I would have loved to see more of how Roxy reacted to the scare.

I really didn't like Keaton. Personally, I found him very conceited. I HATED all the "untranslatable" words. They felt so out of place and made Keaton seem so stuck up and a know-it-all.

Maybe it is because I haven't read the books about the other friends, but I found it at times difficult to keep them straight.

It was almost there, just didn't capture my attention the way I wanted.
