AIM Academy's latest workshop, 'How to Get Started in Sync' will equip you with the essential knowledge you need.
Getting a track synced to a TV show, advert, video game or film is not just a lucrative revenue stream, it can also kickstart an artist’s career by helping to develop a fanbase. But how do you get your music synced? And when the opportunity arises, what do you need to look out for in the deal?
Learn how to land sync deals for your music and how those deals are structured in this key primer event, taking place at Signature Brew's Taproom and Venue on Wednesday 11th March.
The event will consist of two workshop-style presentations:
“How To Land A Sync Deal in 9 Easy Steps” – Simon Pursehouse, Global Director of Music Services at Sentric Music, will guide you through everything you need to know to make your music as attractive as possible to music supervisors around the world.
“Breaking Down The Sync Deal” – Emma Lomas, Head of Creative and Licensing at Beggars, will be looking in detail at how sync deals are structured, common contractual elements, and fees.
