PewDiePie teamed up with CinnamonToastKen, Gab Smolders, and Jacksepticeye, taking on the task of investigating paranormal activity at haunted locations. The game requires players to complete certain objectives like discovering the ghost type, capturing a photo of the ghost, and more.

The first location was a haunted house. The team had to hunt a ghost named Charles White, whose picture Pewds managed to capture with little difficulty. The second location took the team to an abandoned school to hunt a ghost named Helen Jones. It was in a bathroom of this haunted school where Pewds met his Phasmophobia demise at the hands of the ghost.

Another haunted house with a ghost named Paul Jackson came next. The YouTube sensation had a rather hilarious encounter with the ghost. Calling the spirit by its name, he asked it to knock twice if they were subscribed to his channel or knock once if they weren’t. Much to his bemusement, the ghost coincidentally responded once with an eerie noise. However, Pewds got the job done for his team as they could record evidence of the spirit’s presence.

In another instance, while Pewds was busy pouring salt on the ground, a ghost showed up right behind him. The Swede was totally unaware and ended up getting jump scared. The new horror game definitely seems interesting. PewDiePie playing Phasmophoia gave his long time fans the content they hadn’t seen in a while.

Players have access to a range of ghost hunting equipment such as EMF Readers, Spirit Boxes, Thermometers, and Night Vision Cameras. Using the equipment, they have to search for and record whatever type of ghost is haunting the location.

Players can choose to support their team by monitoring the location with CCTV cameras and motion sensors from the safety of a truck. Alternatively, they can also head inside and deal with the paranormal activity.
