    I. INTRODUCTION

    The use of head phone has been thought to create wax F
    accumulation in ear canal. Not commonly the head phone user
    also express concern regarding the potential for this device to
    cause noise induced hearing loss. However, documented
    studies on the side effects of prolonged use of head phone are
    rarely described. Among the prolonged user of head phones
    are students and office workers. Insert head phone in addition Chart 1:- Gender Ratio (N=60)
    are made up of a rubber coat. This rubber coating of the insert
    headphone is in constant contact with the external ear cavity. Pie Chart 1 shows the ratio of males and females that

    South India over a period of 3 months, from January 2019 to
    March 2019. The sampling frame comprised of patients who
    were diagnosed with defective hearing due to wax

    The patients who stated that they use insert headphones


    frequently were then asked how often they use insert
    headphones. Out of the 17 patients who were questioned,
    38.9% of the patients( 6 patients) stated that they used insert
    headphones atleast once a week, 16.7% of the patients(3
    patients) stated that they used insert headphones atleast twice a
    week, 33.3% of the patients ( 6 patients) stated that they used
    insert headphones atleast 3 times a week and 11.1% of the
    patients( 2 patients) stated that they used insert headphones
    more than 3 times a week.
