Letter from the President

‘There are no problems we cannot solve together, and very few that we can solve by ourselves’

--Lyndon B Johnson, 1964

Dear Supporters,

Our 2023 Crested Butte Public Policy Forum season was one of the best. We believe last summer’s program of speakers, as well as the others dating back to our founding in 2003, have made an important contribution to the civic and cultural life of our community.  We hope you were able to attend many of last season’s presentations.

Our 2024 summer speaker slate is set and we are confident it will be another banner year!

June 18 - Justin Farrell & Neal Payton - Resort Economics, co-sponsored by the Town of Crested Butte

June 25 – Sandra Magnus, Chief Engineer in the Office of Space Commerce, former astronaut

July 2 –  TBD

July 9 – Lisa Dale, Professor, Columbia University Climate School

July 16 – Paul Spiegel, Director of the Johns Hopkins Center of Humanitarian Health
