Product Review: Mosso Superfine Serum
Mosso was founded by Samantha Le who for years couldn’t find the right skincare product for her hyperpigmentation issues. She wanted something low-maintenance, but with high impact results. Along with a woman-owned skincare lab, Le developed the formula for Mosso Superfine Serum, a vitamin-enriched oil serum that boosts your skin’s hydration and takes care of fine lines and spots.
I used Mosso Superfine Serum during this past hot summer and now into the brisk fall season. As the seasons changed, the results each time I used it did not. Every morning and night a few drops on my own trouble areas of hyperpigmentation as well as dry spots, what I got was gorgeous, radiant, smooth, moisturized skin. Some days I would even forego my day moisturizer, because this serum provided such good overall coverage. (The Superfine Serum does contain a good amount of Vitamin C, so be sure to wear SPF before heading outdoors or your skin will really burn.)
The Mosso Superfine Serum is light, silky and quick absorbing, which is why I’ve shortened my daily skincare routine. After two to three drops on your face (I do forehead, cheek and cheek) and pat, pat, pat, it’s only a matter of seconds that you start to feel your skin soften and glow. I love that it’s not sticky or greasy and rubbing leftover serum on to my hands and wrists feels luxurious. (Actually works better than most hand creams I’ve used)
After three weeks of using the serum, I noticed my dark spots diminished, my skin tone brightened and after this harsh summer of wildfires and face masks, blemishes have decreased. I’ve fallen in love with this fragrance-free serum that is a combo of plant-derived ingredients and pure vitamins that are found in nature. This is one of those products you would have to hide away from your sneaky roommates.
Available in two sizes, the 7.6 ml for $10 and the 50 ml for $60. I’ve been using the regular size and find that it lasts fairly well into three to four months depending on how often and how many drops you use per application. I’ll definitely be restocking this serum, it’s at a good price point for the quality of results and the clean combination of vitamins and plant-derived oils.
