The year 2020 has been a year like no other, and that goes for income tax planning as well. In this webinar, we will explore what strategies dentists need to consider for 2020 and 2021 given the election results. We’ll talk about whether to defer or accelerate income and deductions, where we think tax laws might be going, deductibility of expenses paid from PPP funds and much more. In addition, the Eide Bailly Research and Development Tax Credit team will explain how this generous federal and state income tax credit could apply to dental practices. Their work has generated thousands of dollars in tax credits for our clients.

Dear WLADS Members,
Over the last few weeks, you’ve received several emails regarding a survey being conducted by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, Oral Health Program (OHP) on the impact of COVID-19 on dental private practices. If you have already completed the survey – thank you. If not, I would like to ask you to take 10-15 minutes out of your busy day to complete the survey to assess the impact of COVID19 on private dental offices and the well-being of dentists. Your responses will help OHP identify the most effective protocols and practices implemented during the pandemic and their sustained impact on dental services. This information will be used to improve oral health emergency preparedness and infection control protocol guidelines and recommendations for future State of Emergency efforts.
To be eligible for the survey, you must be an active private practice dentist in LA County. Your participation in this survey, which should take about 10-15 minutes to complete, is voluntary and your responses will be kept confidential. The first 500 eligible participants will receive a $10 Amazon E-Gift Card sent via an email link for the completion of the entire survey. Thank you for your time and valuable input.
