ROCKLAND — Rockland’s City Council gathered in Council Chambers, Monday, Nov. 18, to swear in its two recent candidates, and to vote for the mayoral position.

Retaining his seat for another three years will be Councilor Ed Glaser, and joining council for the first time is Nate Davis

In a silent vote in which council members wrote down their choice for mayor, current mayor Lisa Westkaemper received unanimous support.

“Once again, I hope to serve the council members, the staff, and the citizens of Rockland with integrity, with a little sense of humor, and with brevity,” said Westkaemper. “So, with that, I wish you good night and good luck.”
