Welcoming Spaces

The National LGBT Cancer Network is proud to offer Welcoming Spaces: Treating Your LGBTQ+ Patient, our updated and expanded LGBTQ+ Cultural Humility training designed specifically for healthcare professionals. This online training series will help providers and healthcare employees address barriers to health equity through cultural competency and cultural humility education. A result of over a year’s worth of collaboration between expert physicians, psychologists, researchers, educators, trainers, and patient advocates from across the United States, the training features 8 modules and is one of the most in-depth LGBTQ+ cultural humility trainings available.

Through our partnership with Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the training is accredited for continuing education for practically any health provider. Unlike other training, the first five modules are aimed at all health workers, from front desk staff to surgeons. Thanks to the generosity of our funders, it is free for the remainder of 2022.
