What's Connected Learning?
Connected Learning is primarily teaching and learning for students through a distance format with a number of important differences.

How is Connected Learning Different from last spring?
  • In-person meetings between staff and students/families.
  • School leaders may identify daily or weekly times for when staff can anticipate coming into the site for in- person work
  • In-person mental health services delivered by mental health partners
  • In-person and onsite support for students to meet academic or social emotional needs
  • Deeper commitment to family engagement, connections, and training
  • Home and community visits in support of students’ academic or social-emotional needs
Mental Health Screening
Staff will connect with parents to assess how each student and family did this summer. After school starts, we will ask for 10-15 minutes to answer questions that ensure we meet students' needs.  The goal is for staff learn the information needed to support classroom instruction and address student mental health needs. Phone calls begin September 8th.
