I Lari. The guardian spirits of the house. A couple of years ago the fortieth year of the foundation of the Atelier Alchimia fell and so I had thought of doing a small commemoration ... it had to be a simple thing and I think it was really so: I asked the designers of the historical collection of 1976 to rethink the Modulor and to design a hypothetical later "model". Thus Andrea Branzi, Daniela Puppa, Alessandro Mendini (1038-2019), Franco Raggi, Paola Navone, Lapo Binazzi (Ufo), Trix u. Robert Hausmann and Michele De Lucchi (unfortunately without Ettore) participated with a small drawing that I made in heavy and durable materials (as befits the sculptures): wood, marble, bronze, stone that can indicate a condition of stability over time and in the place… .but also with some concessions to new technologies that cannot be avoided. Alessandro Guerriero Bioghaphy Bruno Gregory. Born in Ancona in 1954, he lives and works in Milan. He studied painting at the Brera Academy, where he graduated in 1977 with a thesis on the subject of image in urban spaces. He was among the founders of Studio Alchimia. Artist and designer of unique pieces and limited editions, he has been collaborating with Atelier Mendini for years and teaches set-up design at IED.
