WWE TLC 2019: 5 Bold predictions for the PPV

What do you think WWE will do with this year's TLC pay per view?
What do you think WWE will do with this year's TLC pay per view?

Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.

All these weapons and more will be legal at the upcoming TLC pay per view and while this is usually seen as a stop-gap event, the company makes up for it with the amount of carnage it showcases. That might not be the only thing this year's edition is known for, however, as there are a lot of storyline developments that could happen as well.

While these might not be the monumental changes that The WWE Universe is pining for, it will arguably be the stepping stones to shake things up further down the line. TLC will also be WWE's last PPV of the year, which pretty much guarantees that the company will go all out in one way or the other.

With all that in mind and the last pay per view of the year almost upon us, here are five bold predictions for TLC. As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and be sure to tell us what you think could happen at TLC.

#5 Leave Rollins and Kevin Owens off the show

What if WWE left Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins off of TLC entirely?
What if WWE left Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins off of TLC entirely?

WWE hasn't announced too many matches for TLC this Sunday, which has left some to wonder if there will be any last-minute additions to the show. Beyond that, some are wondering if WWE will choose to do some kind of match between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, or let their feud play out at a later date.

Now there are a lot of pros and cons to making this kind of decision and both options do have their upsides. For example, WWE doing nothing between the two gives Owens a chance to sell the effects of his beatdown last week on RAW and allows the company to save the storyline for another time.

#4 Daniel Bryan returns and joins Bray Wyatt

Daniel Bryan could play a crucial role at the TLC pay per view.
Daniel Bryan could play a crucial role at the TLC pay per view.

Daniel Bryan has gone missing after an encounter with The Fiend on Friday Night SmackDown, which has led to speculation about when fans will see the former WWE Champion again? Furthermore, they are worried about what state they will find him in after The Fiend seemingly ripped off his hair and dragged him into the depths of Hell.

The Miz even opened last week's edition of Smackdown by claiming that Bryan has gone missing and challenging The Fiend to a match at TLC in order to find out what happened to his former protégé.

With that being said and it becoming obvious that The Fiend has done something sinister to Daniel Bryan, what if WWE were to flip the script and turn Bryan heel again? WWE did the same exact thing back 2012 when Bryan joined The Wyatt family and it only resulted in fans getting behind him more.

In the end, WWE could probably invoke that same response from the WWE Universe if they were able to turn Bryan heel and make his eventual full face turn even more meaningful.

#3 Baron Corbin beats Roman Reigns

Imagine if Baron Corbin was able to beat Roman Reigns again!

What would happen if Baron Corbin beat Roman Reigns at TLC?

No, seriously, what would be the long term effects of Baron Corbin defeating Roman Reigns in their TLC match at the upcoming pay per view? Although some fans might think that the move would be catastrophic to Roman Reigns' momentum, it could have some very possible benefits as well.

Think about this. What does Roman Reigns lose by being defeated at TLC? Believe it or not, the answer to that question is absolutely nothing and it could be a defining moment for Corbin. It could even lead to another match between them in the future, which would be a great stop-gap until WrestleMania season.

Another reason a loss for Roman Reigns would mean next to nothing has to do with the addition of The TLC stipulation to their match. Not only does this allow the company to book a chaotic match that sees both Superstars get some interesting spots in, but it will also give the company an out when it comes to booking the finish.

Whether that happens due to some kind of convoluted interference by one of Corbin's allies or an underhanded deed by The King himself, the company has a lot of options when it comes to a Roman Reigns loss. It also could give Corbin the key victory that he needs heading into WrestleMania 36.

#2 Becky Lynch turning on Charlotte Flair

While TLC is usually known for its uptick of intensity and outright carnage, it has also become more pf a stop-gap pay-per-view. Now a lot of that has to do with it being the last pay-per-view of the year, but there is also the fact that this is the last pay-per-view before The Road to WrestleMania starts.

That being said, it doesn't mean WWE cant throw a curveball into the mix somewhere down the line and the Tag Team Titles could very well be that curveball. At least that way, WWE can give fans the kind of landscape changing moves that they seek out during pay-per-views and do so in a way that would legitimately catch people off guard.

And what better way to catch fans off guard than to have Becky Lynch actually turn on Charlotte Flair during the match? Not only does the move put Becky Lynch's gimmick in uncharted territory, but it also does so in a way that will make it a lot easier to get the Raw Women's Title off of her.

Beyond all that, it would cement Charlotte as a babyface in a way that nothing else probably could. It would even be a cool callback to when Lynch turned on Charlotte two years ago at SummerSlam, which ultimately led to The Man character becoming what it is today.

In the end, WWE needs to do something to eventually get The Raw Women's Title off of Lynch and having her turn on Charlotte out of nowhere could be a great way to accomplish that.

#1 Bray Wyatt loses

Could Bray Wyatt take a huge loss at TLC?
Could Bray Wyatt take a huge loss at TLC?

WWE doesn't want The Fiend to lose a match for a while and that means they are going to have to come up with some pretty creative ways to keep that streak going. Fortunately for the company, they have created arguably their best supernatural entity to date and have done so in a way that gives them a lot of breathing room.

That's why WWE has advertised the upcoming match between The Miz and Bray Wyatt the way it is and it is also why The Eater of Worlds could finally take his first loss since returning to the ring. Of course, that's not going to go over well with everyone, especially with an opponent like The Miz, but it's not like the streak or the title is at stake.

And if those two things were at stake, than a legitimate argument could be made about whether WWE should do it or not, but neither thing is at play here. In fact, the company has done everything they can to make the stakes for this match as low as possible, which means that a Wyatt lose means absolutely nothing.

It would almost be the same as if John Cena, Roman Reigns or AJ Styles took a loss. Sure, it would sting a little at the moment, but there's nothing really at stake here. Furthermore, there is a lot to be gained by a Bray Wyatt loss that could do a lot of good for the company going forward.
