Global and Intercultural Competency Short Course Registration
The Marine Institute International is currently recruiting Marine Institute domestic students to enroll in our Global and Intercultural Competency Short Course through Brightspace. The course is designed to build your global competence and awareness, understanding of various global issues and the blue economy. The students will learn about intercultural communications, diversity, and working across cultures. This initiative is a part of the Global Skills Opportunity (GSO) program funded by the Federal Government and administered through Colleges and Institutes Canada. The course is self-paced, and students will be given a month to complete the modules. Upon completion, you will be given a certificate of participation to help with your professional development, in addition to MI Cafeteria Voucher (worth $50) and selected accessories & stationary from the MI Campus Store. Space for the course will be limited.

Note: Global Skills Opportunity program is available for MI domestic students studying the diploma, certificate, bachelor’s degree, and advanced diploma programs.
