  • June 17
  • June 24
  • July 1

Have you ever wondered what all those plants growing in the road ditches are? Have you wished you could identify the plants in your prairie strips, pollinator plantings or local nature areas? If you’re curious about what’s growing on your farm, join the Tallgrass Prairie Center and Practical Farmers of Iowa for a native plant identification online course this summer.

This course is designed for anyone who wants to improve their ability to identify native plants of the tallgrass prairie region, with a special focus on common farmland prairie plants. The course will emphasize the process of learning how to identify the plants, and will help attendees become more self-sufficient at plant identification through guided practice.
